TS is what I have primarily used and when I started getting the server together that was the one mentioned before the mumble discussion. If the majority of the people want something besides TS, I can make arrangements but for this upcoming beta weekend we have TS. Perhaps I should make a poll... Originally Posted by HarlekinFilx

Oh, it's not necessarily a bad thing, I just haven't seen it used much these days. Most guilds use Vent or Mumble, and as such I don't know how many players we will have that actually have TS.
Just a thought.

Not trying to be unappreciative.
Just genuinely saying that Mumble is the better service, in my experience. :3
It's actually extremely customizable, especially because of being open source.

That's alright, I wanted to try Mumble when it came out, but my small guild in WoW had two teamspeak servers, so we never got around to it. I want to support the guild in the best way that I can with the server type that they want, so I made a poll for it here; I'm not renting a teamspeak server, but using a friend's virtual server so I can put whatever program on there that I want. Oh well Kilcin dunno about the rest but i'm gratefull you gave us a TS for free even if most people would prefer Mumble.
When you get a free thing you don't start ditching it because you'd prefer something else.
If you need help setting up the server in anyway i can help, done it before.

Neither Drake nor I said we were unappreciative of Kil's ability to get us a server.
What we're doing is simply pointing out that for a cheaper price you can get a larger server that has a better voice quality through Mumble.

Comparing the two, Mumble is cheaper. Yes, I realize this is only a small sample, but it shows that we can get Mumble for cheaper.
All we're doing is helping Kil save a few bucks.
