If ur character has a backstory just try to fit it in with the name. I guess that's what ur already trying to do though...

I just wish I liked charr animations cuz then I'd probably roll one. It just looks like they can barely hold the two handed weapon in their hand.

in other news: I just ordered a new 39" LCD HDTV.

Might use it for a new monitor if it's got better quality than the one I have now. Which is a 23" monitor.

And roggles, the name thing is something I can completely get behind. I suck at naming characters. I have a few original char names but for the most part I take names I like and if they aren't available I give them extra letters or a different spelling.

Like for instance if I want the name Scarlett and it's taken, usually I'll go with Scaerlett. And say she has more of an irish/celtic upbringing.

I have a list of names for characters I've made for RP purposes over the years that I can't always fully remember... though I obviously have specific favorites.

You've already seen Drake and Nadriel when I came up with two of my character's backstories for GW2

Unfortunately... Nadriel is all too easy of a name for guildies to twist for their own amusement. I'm sure one of you will learn my meaning soon enough.
I hope you haven't forgotten my role in this little story. I'm the leading man. You know what they say about the leading man? He never dies.

If you give in to your impulses in this world, the price is that it changes your personality in the real world. The player and character are one and the same.

As someone who was in your shoes 6 or so years back...I can totally identify with that. XP was awesome, tis true. But win 7 just does everything it does better and with more prettiness. XD

    I know what you mean.
From the time the bios hands over to windows until the mouse stops spinning takes me 7 seconds now SSD's for the win!

I'm just working on stability testing at the moment. I could actually pass 10 cycles of Intel Burn Test on high @5ghz at only 1.36v, but it fails after an hour on Prime95, and needs 1.39v to be stable there. But after seeing it run 10 degrees cooler at 1.36v, I'm contemplating dropping down to 4.5ghz.

It's just...almost unbelievably good. I'm never ever buying a mid range pc again. I've tried full hd vids and video editing so far and it's rly smooth. Gonna try a hd vid and install skyrim and run it on the 2nd monitor to see what happens xD
    Not OC'd it yet.
And yh....I don't see the need for 5 unless ur doing something rly heavy. U won't really notice any difference unless ur rendering or something. Still, 5 does sound nicer haha.

I honestly couldn't' see a huge difference between 4.5 and 5 ghz and being that I was able to run stable at 1.29v for 4.5ghz and about 15 degrees cooler I think going for CPU longevity is far more worth it.

    I agree 100%.
I'd much rather get 6 more months out of it. It's also 6 core...so there's no need to run it too high I think.

It's also a lot easier to live with the fan speeds needed for 4.5ghz vs those needed for 5ghz

haha...yh. Sounds like a jet taking off I bet. Mine has 4 big fans and an air cooler but it runs very quietly so far. Not looked at temps yet just seeing how it runs things.
Skyrim and a vid ran perfectly together. Next I think I'll try rendering and a hd vid xD

Ironically, all the fans I thought would be loud were quite and vice versa
Only stability problem I'm having now is with the factory OC ram. Runs fine at 1866mhz, but fails Prime95 occasionally at its rated 2133mhz. I think I might play with the VCCIO some more....

Ok...uv pretty much lost me there lol. I've never overlocked before. I know vccio is mem and there's another important one for vccsa that is apparently system. I found that all out when I looked into OC a few months ago...but I consider myself a GP of comps, not a specialist
I think I'm gonna spend a lot of time on forums learning all sorts of mind boggling things about overclocking in the next couple weeks lol.

It's sad actually, I spent last night overclocking my new PC and new phone, and now I'm spending tonight turning them down a bit

Better that than running them too hot imo. Some of the specs u see linked around with ppl just flexing their O/C epeen is hilarious tbh. It's like having a totally suped up vuaxhall corsa or something with a pitiful engine but ridiculous extras. They just need someone to tell them....sorry m8, but it's never gonna be a ferrari.
Not that u'v done that ofc xD

I've tested all I can think of for now and it's running just fantastically. Skyrim and BF2 on maxed. It's just amazing to see after having to run wow on mid lol. Tomorrow I'll O/C it to 4.5 and 5 to see how it does

    This x10.
That's like the change from my laptop to desktop. My laptop barely squeezed out 10FPS in 25mans on the lowest settings, this desktop plays any game I throw at it on max with playable FPS. I turn most of them down to go from 'playable' to '60+', but yeah. Diablo III makes me want to punch children though. I don't know what they did, but for the first hour or so of play after I reset my computer I get random dips to 10-20FPS, like it's trying to load stuff while I play or something. No clue what the deal is.

(Oh crap you're about to out post me. Too much D3, not enough postingtobeatsquirrel. Must beat squirrel to 1k, brb posting productively.)

That happens to me as well, quite annoying, any other time I'm running at 60 fps.
