I just hope everyone tries out the NA server we will probably choose to play on. I'd try to do a EU server, but East Coast NA is probably right in the middle of the US and Europe and would be easiest for people for event times and such.

I'm sure we can make it work. For guild events we could do a round robin, host an event on an NA server then next time on an EU. Just depends on what our guild population is like.

Also, servers can surprise me sometimes... I had 120 ms latency when playing swtor on an american server, for example.

TBH it really just depends on if people are willing to play a game in a different time Zone. I had many a guildmates who played on mountain time server (Kel'Thuzad US) in WoW who lived in Australia, and even Israel. Sure, timing may be off, but overall GW2 doesn't require 10 people to get a job done like end game raiding does, so you aren't as restricted to time slot dedications like you normally are in other guilds in other MMO's

I had many a guildmates who played on mountain time server (Kel'Thuzad US) in WoW who lived in Australia, and even Israel. Sure, timing may be off, but overall GW2 doesn't require 10 people to get a job done like end game raiding does, so you aren't as restricted to time slot dedications like you normally are in other guilds in other MMO's

My thoughts exactly. At this point the game leads me to believe that it will be open to fluctuating schedules like myself.
