I'm really amazed at the quality of the sets presented here, they look really nice.

I'm not presenting a finished work, but rather asking for help and opinions on my first one, sorry if this is not intented for this post.

This is my Warlock Grim Reaper themed set.

The last piece i was trying to match was the helmet piece, same model as Mage's T11. I liked the "skull" look in it, but i cant help but feel that helmet is a little bit too bright when paired with the rest of the set. Does anyone know of another cloth helmet that has a "skull" texture?

Anything else about the set you'd change, while we're at it?

    EDIT: Item list:

Helmet: Power Generator Hood (note: this is the heroic version. the normal version is blue, much like the normal tier piece it shares its model with)
    Shoulders: Merciless Gladiator's Dreadweave Mantle
    Chest: Merciless Gladiator's Dreadweave Robe
    Gloves: Merciless Gladiator's Dreadweave Gloves
    Cloak: Cloak of Subjugated Power
    Belt: Veteran's Dreadweave Belt
    Boots: Veteran's Dreadweave Stalkers
Weapon: Staff of Justified Sins - Alliance Warlock only / Staff of the Left Hand Path - Horde Warlock only

Bracers and Trousers aren't visible, so i deemed them unnecessary.

Nice - I quite like the set as is, Migas, although I do see what you mean about the helm - it does have quite bright orange accents, compared to the red accents of the rest of the gear.
I don't recall there being many options, cloth wise, that have a skull on them like that.
I'll have a look when I get home from work, if someone else hasn't posted any viable alternatives in the meantime
Would you mind posting up an item list?

Thanks, just made it easier for me to replicate so I could browse hats
Well, the bad news is, I didn't find much - I don't think any of it is better than what you have, while still keeping the skull theme.

    This is what I have.

Edit: I did tinker around with a variation

The hood that obscures the face is also quite appropriate for a grim reaper theme I think.

Humm yeah, i really was charmed by the looks of the T11 one, so every other falls short to it now...

But actually, i just did sinestra and the helmet from her with the same model dropped, and somehow in game it looks darker, so it kinda works out in my eyes.

Thanks a lot for your time though

I'll still try and find "upgrades" to it :P

I'd use the recolor version of the rest of that armor.. green/teal combo fits better than red/teal, I'd say.

The Avenger of the Talon is a druidic veteran of the battles wrought in the Firelands. Having succesfully navigated the swirling, superheated skies of this elemental plain, he has emerged victorious like a phoenix from the ashes. Battlescarred and focussed, the Avenger of the Talon continues to seek out rogue elemental forces to avenge his fallen comrades.

    I wish to revive this.

Going for a Wildhammer Gryphon-Rider turned Paldin. Even started riding my Swift Blue Gryphon exclusively. And if you are wondering about the helm I don't like it on all the time as I miss my awesome beard. So I use a mod called RPHelm to auto take it off when not in combat and put it on when in combat.

Next I know some people will disagree but I just don't like the big flamboyant, shifting, burning, turning, sparkling weapons that litter most of the newer weapons. The simpler designs just seem way more awesome and realistic for me. A Spiked Battle Axe of the <random enchant> and a Polished Zweihander of <random enchant> and there you have it. I was especially happy to find a two-hander that even has a blue hilt to keep the color scheme going. And the enchant works with a retribution theme of the yellow "Holy" glow.

    Blood Elf Priest

I know typical, but I loved the Alliance Priests outfits from the Hyjal Raid, and being a Blood Elf fanboy, I took what it was and added a twist to it. The above is what finished product looks like and below is what I did. Like I said, not too creative, but hey, it works.

    awesome thread keep it up

Enjoying the more vibrant colors, this young pandaren chooses to dress lightly and loosely, focusing more on comfort than utility. This outfit is perfect for walks in the park, not fights to the death.

Keep up this awesome thread guys! This really made me kind of "designing" a new set for my monk, and I think that is the hardest class to get a good-looking, but also sensemaking set now. I'll post it when I accept it as complete and perfect.

So, this is my actual first completed, own-made Transmog set. The weapon took me the longest (it's from Shattered Halls). I've also got the Gladiator weapons for Dual-wield (the exact same weapons, but then for one-handed weapons).

(I'm lucky with the blinking off the eyes, because sadly enough this is the only way an Orc can have that skin, through being a dK)

We don't consider it a necro if you're adding something constructive to the thread... i.e a transmog set.

    You're fine mate.
