Arena drinking problem

A few weeks ago, I started to do arenas on my level 70 priest. With my friend's rogue we managed to get on 35# place in 70's bracket. We would surely do better, only if I was allowed to drink while I'm not in a combat. Every kind of water for me is tagged with 'not useable in arena'. I asked others and they said there is no problem for them to drink any water avaible on this level. I even tried ones from 'arena water vendor' in Dalaran, but still no positive result. Two GM's weren't able to help me, one said that he gonna pass it to the Devs and told me to 'look on patch notes'... Many healers have advantage over me because they regain mana only when out of combat.
Does anyone have an idea what's wrong?

I'm probably wrong, but can't you only drink mage water in arena?

Star's Tears is the one you can use in arena, iirc

you can use any kind of water in arena ( no food except mage food) , some items have the tag "not useable in arena" but are in fact useable in arena

Go to a PVP vendor (overall one) where you get pots, banners, tabards etc.
Buy the Stars Tears water (70, 80, 85) think it cost 1 honor each water or something even at your lvl.

I once went to get a drink from the kitchen during an Arena match when one of the enemies was dead and the other guy down to 50% hp. My arena mate thought it was a problem, because I died while being afk even though we won.

Honestly this is what I thought the thread was about to begin with. I too have this issue...

Yep drinking in arenas should be taken away...PERIOD.

Just unfair because out of combat timers are tricky plus it just makes long fights much longer.
