You blow through zones without paying much attention.. My alts ended up getting stuck because I didn't want to go through the same zones in the same order over and over.. I may just have to pvp grind and just do the class quest for each planet.

I did that so I could skip Tattooine on my assassin. It isn't a terrible way to level but there are just some planets that you just don't want to visit.

My second character took me far less than even half the amount of time to level my first character.
See, I always leveled as healers and people said in the thread that my estimates based on my play and what other people said was "too fast," so I gotta question dps actually being faster to level than healing.

Yep 50 in a week is very doable. Iv hit only in 3 days X hors with only 12hrs gameplay per day during holiday when TOR released. (not over 3 days but something around that).

EDIT: Wrong place to post. Doh! Was referring to wow.

    You guys are all wrong!

    Hey, I can get to 80 in a mouse-click?

Did you guys see what blizzard is offering to old accounts?

The new Soul of Ressurection: A free level 80, server transfer, character faction change. All free - and the guy who sends the invite gets a mount.

And, who said quitters never win? Wow. Just wow.

    Seriously, though, I'm not re-subbing.

The scroll of resurrection is legit though. Wow forums going nuts for people complaining they feel cheated for being loyal and not quitting.

While its not the cap 80-85 is insanely easy. While leveling in SWTOR may not exactly be a long drawn out thing, after leveling 8 level 85's and 13 level 80's in WoW, its a challenge.

Personally SWTOR is probably the first MMO other than SWG ( because there wasn't any) where I didn't ever really worry about what levels were. The leveling experience is so much more enjoyable that I do what I want and don't really pay much attention half the time tbh.

If you do all the quests in each zone as you go, your gear will keep up nicely. *You're leveling anyway - may as well do all the quests that are right there.

It takes roughly ~100 hours to level a character from 1 through 50 if you do all the quests on a planet and very little PvP/Flashpoints.

That's why you're leveling fast. 10 hours a day? Do you work or go to school? Yikes...

That's what weekends are for. 1-2 hours a night weeknights, all day of play on weekend day

Hmmm. Seems to be taking me a lot longer than a lot of other folks.

Then again, I'm stopping to spam trade for groups...which can take a while...so that might be part of it.

If only I had all weekend to play. Sure I could drop everything else going on in my life but by the end of the weekend I would hate the game and feel depressed that I didn't do the several other things I wanted to get done.

I'm not saying all weekend every weekend, I'm saying one day on a weekend out of your life. If your life is so busy that you never have one day where you're not doing anything to be able to relax and just play a game you like, you're probably too busy as it is and should cut back on some stuff.

Maybe, I tend to do the hour or two on the weeknights and a few hours across my weekend. Helps me stay sane and able to keep up with the rest of my life. I just understand where players are coming from who can't sit in front of the PC for X number of hours due to schedules and busy lifestyles. It isn't the games fault at that point for having a long leveling curve, because lets be realistic its the individual who allocates how their time is spent.

I am leveling my second 50 (he is 47 now). On my first (jugg) i felt the leveling was waaay fast but I enjoyed the story the new game the new areas to explore i was just lost in the experience - and bam i was 50. On this second character (sorc) I very much noticed around level 35 slow down in leveling. So, I'd say the last 15 levels can get slow. The last 7 for me have been quite a grind. I suggest rested XP - that makes getting through one high level in a day much easier.
