Just got my GTX770 in today, hooray! ^.^
I know that it seemed hardly an upgrade from what I had, but I really think something was wrong with my 680 since I kept having so many issues with it and games (bad drivers or broken hardware idk, but freezing and artifacts was a normal thing.) The 770 seems to perform perfectly though!
Tossed the 680 in the media PC, which it seems to be doing fine in...

It's ok, I went from a 580 to a 660 Ti to avoid the hassles of the previous card's design.

wohoo watercooling stuff is likely to arrive tommorow or saturday and EVGA blocks up for order either tommorow or start of next week.
as for the ssd's i'm still waiting on confirmation that they come with the original invoice/receipt to ensure i can claim the warranty if needed. (however it shouldn't be needed but rather safe then sorry)

There's a few folks who have Vert/Agil 3 SSDs that are still going. Hope it remains that way.

My Agility 3 120GB didn't even last a few days. I was having freeze-ups, I'd be getting ready to go to a raid and WoW would start getting very slow-responding, I'm like NOOOOO!!!!

    Shit was happening all over.

Then I went and traded it in for Crucial m4 128GB and look where we are. :P

Increased failure rates doesn't guarantee failure, just that the probability is increased, and that it is. If it doesn't break, it doesn't. No worries.
Sandforce as a controller is still too unreliable in performance for me to recommend broadly, albeit improved.

Exactly what was your SSD question?

+1. I reeeeally hope it will come to PC. So far I've been able to restrain myself from buying it on console.

I cannot wait to see how the new AMD card does. Sounds like it has a good chance of beating NVidia's offerings, thus why NVidia is going to bring the GTX 800 series out in Q1 2014, and possibly a 790 and/or Titan ULTRA.

NVidia is scared, mayhaps? Dat 512 bit membus would be insane. XD

Also, 30+ days of up-time now with no issues.

Preliminary testing results of the new AMD R9-290 versus the nVidia GTX Titan and GTX 780.

Wow... This may be AMD's time to shine if they keep this up. Also 6gb aftermarket cards, I likey the sound of that very much.

    Edit:

Got around to starting my case renovation slowly.

Work in progress atm. I may even paint the whole front frame white. I know the paint isn't even but that was just the first coat, I wanted to see what it looks like.

Anyone else noticing that the cpu usage graphs in the taskmanager of Windows 8 is bugged? Eg BF3.exe taking 50% and non-active processes 50% but the total cpu load is 80% >.<

Because not every core is loaded equally?

I don't suppose anybody knows off-hand how an A series APU will cope with WoW on 1650*1080 or 1920*1080, do they? My brother focuses mainly on PvP arenas (3v3) so no need to cope with 25man raiding all too well.

Have you guys seen this? That is one sweet enthusiast case!

I saw Sweclockers review of it. Looks ugly.

As for the AMD A-series, yes they'll handle it fine. A Phenom II should handle them fine as well.
Overclocking always helps, as is always the case. I had no troubles using the i5 760 in Cataclysm through raids on full-ultra (50fps+, dips to 26 on one specific scenario) and arenas alike, overclocked to 4.2. That said, PvE in wow is super boring so didn't do a whole lot of raids compared to others.
