interesting read, looks like it isnt the actual power of the chip holding its OC ability back just its internal ability too cool..unfortunately that leaves out 99% of overclockers, but maybe it could be improved.

You know something is truly expensive when Cyanotical told you what his last tower cost but not the new laptop. O_O

I take it you would water cool all of those 680s right up next to each other? Boy that would be a sight, whenever it happens.

Or perhaps if they ever bring out that one giant supposed GPU....

yeah, i'd have to get a new PSU as well, the AX1200 has the power capacity, but not enough connectors for 4-way SLI, i was thinking of getting the Silverstone 1500w psu, it seems a little higher quality then the EVGA SR 1250

as for GPU im not sure, i have yet to max out the 590s in a game, but the lack of driver support from nvidia makes them less then stable, the 690 isn't out yet, and i fear much of the same problems as the 590, and considering $300-400 of its cost is for that stupid heatsink, which i would remove anyway, i'll probably steer clear of them unless something comes up where i can get them at no cost

otherwise, 4 680s seem like a waste when we all know gk110 gpus are on the way, im thinking i'd like 4x 4GB GK110 GPUs

Nice one Cyan, post some pictures once it comes =)

My new keyboard arrived! (Yesterday, was too lazy to post it on here until this morning)

    ThermalTake eSports Meka G1

Braided cables, gold plated USB & Audio jacks, 2 USB ports, I'm loving this keyboard both for typing and for gaming, been rocking some Binding of Isaac for a couple of hours and it's been a much better experience than using my old Roccat Arvo.

(I wanted a mechanical keyboard without all the macro keys and such, since I never really use them, the TT eSports Meka G1 was the obvious choice :P)

Deltrus what do you think of my avatar?

Looks like my water cooling parts are arriving tomorrow! I've already got my CM690II prepped to have the parts stuffed into it. Since I'm using a thick radiator on the top of the case, I drilled a couple extra holes in the top of the case to give me more clearance for the motherboard... hopefully it will be enough. (I still need to find a metal tab or something so I can secure the 4th corner of those fans) I also still need to find out for sure if my PSU (Corsair HX850) will fit with a radiator in the bottom of the case or not. My guesstimated measurements show if it does fit it will be very close, and if it doesn't, I'll have to run to Microcenter and grab one of these

Sigh, I decide to turn up speakers to blast some music, Two Steps From Hell for the record, and it's making it very apparent I really need to take these studio monitors back to Sam Ash and get them exchanged for some that can manage slightly higher volumes and higher pitches, especially.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14Zkx...eature=related

Tis really bad with that one. ^^

Samson Media ONE 3a studio monitors, at lower volumes they sound awesome and at higher volumes, when there aren't such powerful highs, they kick some serious ass.

    Ah well.
