I'm assuming it's probably more appropriate to ask this here rather than in the main PC forum since it's only a small question, but what keyboards are you guys using and how would do you rank them to other ones you've used/would you recommend them?
I've been using my trusty G11 since around... 2006 I think they came out? The wear and tear of 6ish years is starting to show and things are starting to break but I find myself far too attached to this keyboard to make any sort of decision on buying a new one easily and I wanted to know what you guys thought of either buying a new one or getting another G11. (Do they still even make these?)

Already been done by lots of people hasn't it? It's not even that difficult, pretty much anyone who is half-decent at woodworking/carpentry could do it.
A basic one...
One with a bit more style...
Wouldn't grouding everything be a pain? You could pretty much rub your ass against some wool and fry your computer by touching the copper start button :P

Delivery truck left neighboring town with my Corsair M90 at 4:54AM.
It is now 4:18PM.
Still haven't reached me on their list.
Looks like I'll probably be at college when it arrives. >_<
I got around to rewiring a bit. Had to give the front panel audio cable some slack to reach the Xonar. Also got a custom cable made to feed molex to the Xonar, and continue on 2 feet to feed the DVD drive power as well, without having to fish another 4 header SATA cable to the roof.
Threw in extra pictures for good measure too.

Fucking sex to look at.
I like it, but I really like the look of the worn industrial look.

Well
While a rusty/worn look does catch the eye, I can't placing that thing on my clean white desk. It would look horribly out of place, clashing with everything. My mum would probably ask "did you find in a scrap yard?"
I would put those paint/color schemes in the same category as artfully-torn jeans (basically looking like trash on purpose).
But the design is really nice. If he had used white/silver with a hint of blue LED's that thing would've looked amazing.
Now THAT is the definition of "teh sex". Clean lines, chrome tubes, beautiful angles, very tidy, very sleek! I've seen that build before, it won some awards didn't it?

Truth be told, I'd love to see a clean version too though. Which is pretty much a paint job away...
The rusty look would match my messy desk perfectly.

I like the one Cyanotical posted more.
I remember someone made a HalfLife 2 themed rusted/grungy looking case several years back... around the time HL2 was released. I thought that one was pretty awesome. Anyone see that?

I can't wait for my grand grand grand-sons to experience the release of Half Life Episode 3.
