Im sure some crazy bastard could manage it, given a sufficient budget lol. Could make some sort of multi-level case, one level dedicated to graphics and two more psu and mobo and other stuff.

A TJ07 would fit all of it and still have space for more rads, lol.

Like hell it is. What would replace it?
EDIT:
I got my U2711 set up, and now I am running into slight performance issues. Apparently my 5970 really doesn't like running stuff at 2560x1440.
That, and the thing is loud, hot, and the drivers crash sometimes. Can't say I am a huge fan of dual GPU cards now after experiencing that - even if that particular card is one of the most gremlin infested ones on the market.
That, and a 5970 in WoW is more or less the same thing as a gimpy 5870. :[
Sooo... my options now are,
- [$0] Use GTX 560Ti (384core, 1GiB VRAM, 950mhz) and deal with games at 1080p because it has low memory and at least have stable drivers and better performance in WoW.
- [$200] Purchase a second GTX 560Ti Hawk and SLi (This would still limit me to 1GiB of video memory though, wouldn't it?)
- [$450] Buy a GTX 670.

what i keep trying to say, is that while you can run quad SLI and quadfire YOU CANT GAME WITH ALL OF THEM COMBINED it's either amd OR nvidia, you can't use both to run the same game at the same time
and lucidlogix doesn't work

We get the message about how games will operate, mate. I don't think anyone here is trying to be practical the moment the amount of graphics cards exceeds two... (Unless you've got specific requirements.)
What should I doooo! D:

Two 670s! Infact, did you rule 680s out?
Don't see the point of getting a GTX 670 when the HD7970v2 costs as much for a 384 bit membus and performs better than the step-up from there, the GTX680, for 2560x1440.
