Found a way to bump the vcore on my 680 by bios flashing :P Getting from 1.135Vcore (which is the max for my card full boost) 1300MHz to 1340MHz @ 1.18V.

    i5-760 @ 3600 MHz
    12GiB RAM @ 1600 MHz
    GTX 680 @ 1100 MHz Core / 7068 MHz VRAM
    Drivers 310.70 (beta)

As far as it lets me push it with stock cooler.

<-- First time I overclock my CPU - 4.5 GHz with Hyper 212 EVO 1.365v and around 60-70 degrees celsius with 100% load.

    Yay, I succeeded I guess

Doing loads of prime95 tests to see if it's stable though.

Possibly he can squeeze 4.6GHz @ 1.4V and the limit is reached.

Anyone else who picked up Far Cry 3? What kind of performance are you guys getting (and with what hardware)?

Currently the cutscenes and menu performance is dreadful, im talking like 3fps, really laggy. Actual gameplay at full ultra gives me about 50-60fps on average. Though that might be because of my drivers, I've yet to find time to update them.

*it was, and it was the best

anyways, I fixed it somehow, I changed the motherboard to the old one (Asrock m3a77de) and used the old proc (athlon ii x2 240) on the Gigabyte. Both worked fine. I fail to understand how/why.
