Will you last longer than I did?
My god, such a bad build...
You had one job, IGN. One. Job.
Seriously, 2 sticks of RAM, x79.
Then going ahead and say that "You don't need to buy a heatsink, right?" "Correct, only for overclocking". Again, LGA2011-processor. Not buying a heatsink as a recommendation. (3.45 onwards)
I'm guessing they didn't notice that the box the processor came in did not contain a heatsink? :/
lol, "we didn't get the 680 because we wanted to save some money"
*x79 board and i7-3820

TIM spread method the needs to be done on the CPU, not the heatsink, these guys are as bad as first day A+ students
That was a lot of thermal paste ^^
They also installed the fan on the heatsink to push the hot air down in the case.

Man, I wouldn't let them within 50 feet of my PC >.>
but seriously, i7 3820 is slower in games than a 2500K, CX PSU, only two RAM sticks...
And he only mentions static electricity 15 minutes into the build.

"Screw it in tight so it doesn't make a lot of noise." - 17:20.
Also, I love how he handles the CPU.
... That's what she said
They've got it pretty much all installed, and haven't plugged in the auxiliary power connector yet (22 min)...
If they installed it blowing up through the heatsink radiator then it would probably catch on all those cables they have bunched up in the bottom half of the case

Nice parody video of how to build a PC.
Wait, they were serious? Shit shit shit shit....

The dude on the left (Mr. green button down shirt) drives me INSANE. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO annoying. >_<
Shit PSU. wtf is a CX750M?
2 sticks of RAM
What the hell is this Enermax Ecomaster? Is it even good? Never even seen a review of it...
And wow, Windows 7 Home Premium. REALLY stepping up to the plate...
9 minutes was enough for me, especially having the fan push towards the GPU. The fuck?!

It may be "lazy", but that doesn't make it bad... Closed-loop systems are cheap (comparatively) and perform well. They also take up a lot less room than air-coolers with similar performance.
In other news: Fractal Design is really making me want to go back to a mid-tower build with the Arc Midi V2, so pretty. I'd switch in an instant if they weren't so unwieldy to transport around.

I could cart around an Arc Midi V2 (I carted around an Arc Midi with a custom water loop afterall)... I just don't want to.
Small builds also mean smaller footprint, which is nice in an apartment.
