Well, you do have a point although my computer surely isn't a black, piano-finish plastic black box... :P

This is supposed to be a gaming console though... with some personality. I think it is extremely ugly.

It was initially intended for that, just like Playstation Move in order to cash-in to the casual motion control bullshit that Wii made untold profits out of. As expected, using it to play actual games turned out to be pure garbage and then a "hardcore" title came along and was such a massive fuck-up for the Kinect that it made everything else before it look like a masterpiece.

But it turned out Kinect did have one genuinely good use, and that was to act as a microphone and allow people to do basic shit on their XBox with voice commands.

@Xuvial, i only have one remote for my smart-TV. And tbh they're not that more expensive then a regular TV.
Via my server i can stream .mkv / .vob / .avi files, it even accepts the .srt files for subtitles. It has internet, apps, everything they mentioned in the video.
So nothing is really as groundbreaking or innovating as they say it is. My parents have a 8series downstairs and it has voice and motion control.

It's great because gas isn't $1.30/L and sales tax is 5% instead of 15%. :P Also, there's an NHL team here... granted they suck, but still.

Edit: Also, I am soon to be switching my main tower from ATX to Mini ITX! Super exciting! Tired of dealing with a 60lb box!
