Name: Causis the Tainted (Previously, Causis of the Grey)

Race: Forsaken

Appearance: Bald, except for sides which extend to his shoulders. White hair, greenish skin
tint and mostly intact body. His right hand however is completely gone, except for the bones.

Age: 55 (Has been undead for 2 years)

Likes/ Dislikes: Enjoys reading and long walks/ despises the plague and ignorance

Strengths/ Weaknesses: One of the rare undead to retain his Light powers, powerful melee user
and charasmatic/ traditional and slow to decisions

Class: Paladin

History:

Once the proud son of the Grey Family, Causis serves under the Forsaken and his old kingdom of Lordaeron. After his death in the battle for Southshore, Causis was buried by his son Aldean of the Grey in Strahnbrad's cemetary. Years past and the Scourge were unable to raise him, but where the Lich King failed, Sylvannas and her Forsaken succeeded. The Light still brimmed in the paladin's corpse and the energies tried desperately to halt Sylvanna's apothecaries, but failed. Combined with the power of the Valk'yr Causis was raised, "Paladin of Lordaeron, who do you serve?" asked the Banshee Queen. The corpse rose from his grave and stood before Sylvannas, "Lordaeron." The Queen smirked, "And where are the people of Lordaeron?" The paladin looked around to the Forsaken, "Right Here." Sylvannas placed her hand on the paladin's shoulders, "That's the way it will stay." Since that day Causis fought under the Forsaken banner and aspires to gather his family, those that have died. Under his leadership a new Grey family will rise and reclaim the lands they lost. Though he can use the power of the Light, he cannot explain it and thus cannot teach others. It remains like instinct and Causis serves as one of Lady Sylvannas's Vanguard. Now known as Causis the Tainted he carries a new weapon, a hammer named, "Liberty." Liberty, in hopes of Lordaeron being free from war.

Since the events in Northrend, Causis has become fearful of his previous possession and that of his family members and has imposed himself into exile. He now resides in the Arathi Highlands in hopes of finding a way to defeat the evil inside him as the warriors of Stromgarde had done many years before. Now in the ancient Greys home high in the hills he hopes his prodigy Aldoss can head the family without him against the invasion Darced the Damncaller promised.
