backend servers: are they prepared for march 19th?

basically, i've received 3 messages in the past week alone about backend servers reaching capacity. Now, the past week has been rather slow, with the only major announcement being the new Scroll of Resurrection, along with some minor blog posts. on march 19th, we're likely to see a torrential downpour of information the likes of which we haven't seen since the Cataclysm beta NDA was lifted.

that has left me to wonder: if I got a message about the backend servers reaching capacity 10 minutes ago, when MMO-champion is not even that busy, what will the situation be like on monday? will Illidan's words be prophetic again?

ive just got a few messages just now about it. mmo-c needs new servers :P i get the message at least once a day

I'm hoping they are. I can imagine that they'll be okay, though. We didn't have much trouble when the original MoP announcement came out.
