how can i get rid of infraction points?

is there anything i can do to get rid of these bad boys? i think i've racked up quite a lot and i think im at the point if i even post something with 9 words it will trigger a 20 day ban.

They go away after a certain amount of time.

I think there's a time limit. I'm not 100% sure though. I've spent more time banned recently than unbanned due to even the tiniest infraction incurring a month ban due to a buildup of points from up to 2-3 years ago. It's getting sort of silly.

Pretty sure they disappear after a month or maybe a few weeks after your last infraction.

If you go into your profile, there is an Infractions tab you can click on. It lists them out and when the points expire.

Most infraction points expire 90 days after you get them. The only exception is avatar/signature violations or thread necros iir.
