ok, even if it is ACTUALLY filmed in front of a live audience, they obviously use one of those "laugh" signs to make everyone laugh, because alot of the really stupid jokes that no one should even consider laughing at apparently get a huge lols from the "audience"

I haven't gotten through an entire episode because the jokes seem so corny and canned. Maybe I haven't given it enough time, but why is this show so popular.

Why does threads like this exist? Is it really hard to understand that there are other people who enjoy things that you dont?

I see these kinds of threads all the time. "Why do people enjoy X? I simply cant stand it!"

Is it to start a debate where you emerge victorious with your opinion as the only true opinion?

OT: Its one of the shows that i follow and its ok simply because its different from all the other sitcoms and their
corny jokes about regular things and common problems.

I like it. It's not a particularly great comedy but it's fairy well written and as a fellow geek the characters are quite endearing. Sheldon's character is very well acted as well and their neighbour is nice enough eye candy.

I don't care for it that much. I think i've watched three or four full episodes, the humor just doesn't appeal to me. It surely appeals to a lot of folks or it wouldn't be on the air.

I watch stuff that I know others don't like, so I try my best not to judge too much.

This, accept it and move on. Its a funny show, its easy to follow, the characters are simple and theres a vague plot line so I can watch at any time and its still funny. I odn't need to be in a great mood or be focussed to watch I can just chill and laugh

I HATE Leonard, Howard, and Bernadette. I dislike Penny and raj. HOWEVER Sheldon and his on going war with Will Wheton Cracks me up as well as Amy Farafowler. Their dry Data esq banter is appealing to me.
