I think The Avengers will utter and completely destroy the box office. The Dark Knight Rises, The Hobbit and Prometheus too, looks like they are the world community’s most anticipated pictures this year. I am only going to see The Dark Knight Rises and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. But maybe The Avengers, if the reviews are good.

    • "Only God Forgives" directed Nicolas Winding Refn, starring Ryan Gosling.
    • “Lincoln” directed Steven Spielberg, starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Tommy Lee Jones and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
    • “To Rome With Love” directed by Woody Allen, starring Himself, Alec Baldwin and Roberto Benigni.
    • “Django Unchained” directed by Quentin Tarantino, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson and Kevin Costner.
    • “Neighborhood Watch” directed by Akiva Schaffer (yes, the guy from The Lonely Island), starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill.
    • “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” directed by Peter Jackson, starring Martin Freeman and Ian McKellen.
    • “The Stare” directed by Jay Anania, starring James Franco and Winona Ryder.
    • “Ted” directed by Seth McFarlane, starring Mila Kunis, Mark Wahlberg and Himself.
    • “Chimpanzee”, a documentary.
    • “The Dark Knight Rises” directed by Christopher Nolan, starring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy and Gary Oldman.
    • “Skyfall” directed by Sam Mendes, starring Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes.

    So share yours
Looks like I'm going to be busy this summer! Coincidentally, I got hyped over half of these and forgot about them in the interim.

It just doesn't look that great, if it gets good reviews I'll give it a try but, I might just wait for it to come to the dollar movie.

Well, the one that I look most forward to is definatly The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

Others that I look forward to:

    The Avengers
    The Dark Knight Rises
    Prometheus (the new Alien movie)
The Amazing Spider-man (Quite sceptical about this one, it feels too soon for a rebot, but I'm hoping it will be better than expected)

Does anybody know if this year’s Cannes program is ready? It usually has some great, independent pictures on the table, some of which no one has ever heard of before. And then they go blow up minds. Really hoping for some great dramas, as none of the blockbusters this year seem to be my type of movies, real dramas.
