We are <Morituri>, a level 25, 10 man raiding guild on Alterac Mountains
We raid Tuesday through Thursday 9:00 pm to 12:00 am (EST)

We are recruiting the following classes, based on our current raid makeup. We value every strong applicant, but part of our belief is that each individual should get to play the class and spec they most enjoy, and the following are what we need to round out a well balanced group. Additionally, applicants must posess enough common sense and accurate knowledge of their class to play in a competitive and progressive raid environment with very little hand holding.

• Tanks: All classes
• Ranged: Mage, Boomkin, Warlock, Shadow Priest
• Healers: Druid, Priest, Paladin

(Additionally we want at least one of the tanks and healers to have a stong dps spec and gear set.)

Why are we recruiting?
We want to raid. We want YOU to raid with us, and we're ready to raid right NOW.

We're 1/8H 10 Man Dragon Soul, and are pushing to see as much content and face as much challenge before and after the expansion hits.

Guild Environment
Our guild is a community. We go by first names, we engage in activities outside of raiding: heroics, achievement runs, mount runs, transmog runs, fishing parties, random work day vent banter. That's who we are, that's what keeps us going, that's what we want you to join in on. To help preserve that community, bad behavior (such as drama, lazy raiders, attention whoring, greed, favoritism, and poor communication) is dealt with quickly. We believe games should be fun, not stressful. Always. Period. End of story.

Raid Environment
We're serious about what we do, but we're not all business. We get to laugh, joke, and have fun because we have our priorities straight - we don't waste the time of each other and ourselves. We show up knowing the fights beforehand. We make sure we're gemmed, enchanted, practiced in our specs, and knowledgeable on how to play. When it's time to focus, listen, and communicate, we rise to the occasion. We all use vent. We all use flasks. We all are rambunctious loud mouths. We're all mature enough to know when to STHU.

We want to see content, and we collectively believe the way to do that is by putting forth a tremendous effort to make that happen. Full preparation isn't an option, it's a requirement.

Recruitment Process
Application and vent interview are required. We're big on communication around here - it has proven to be a good tool in cutting out drama and other miscelaneous nonsense. Don't be shy, we just want to know who we're inviting to join, and we want you to know us. There is a trial period upon invitation to the guild. We aren't a revolving door kind of guild, and therefore don't recruit like one. We aren't recruiting ghosts (lurk in the background, rarely show up, often disappear) or benchwarmers.

Requirements

• Some progressive raid experience. As long as you know the basics of how to listen, communicate, and handle yourself when a big bad boss is staring you in the face, we want you.

• Ready to raid. We're not looking to teach you how to gear and play on a level appropriate for progressive raiding. If you need to be taught what "showing up prepared" means, we probably won't be a right fit for each other.

• At least 20 years of age. In rare cases this is flexible based on maturity and schedule. Generally speaking, this is a pretty firm rule. But, if you're an younger person with an old soul that doesn't have a bedtime, doesn't have homework, and has enough tact to keep it fun and crazy without bringing in disrespectful nonsense and drama, we might still be the guild for you.
