First, please rename the thread by fixing "there IS a problem.".... >_<
Oh, before I possibly get infracted: teaching people proper grammar IS, indeed, constructive.
BW is scoring points in my book ... didn't expect them to start so early with this. But it's beta and problems are to be expected.
My part in this story has been decided. And I will play it well.
no news about non-oceanic server transfers?
I thought the Aussies went to their own servers already? I figured The Swiftsure and Canderous Ordo already took their population hits.
Was I mistaken?
Just posted in the big thead:
Souce:http://www.swtor.com/community/showp...&postcount=931Hey guys, I've been checking Dev tracker ALL DAY and finalyl this appeared.
"Good morning from Austin, everyone. We've got good news and not-so-good news.
The good news is the web and database teams have been working closely together to figure out the issues we've seen overnight, and they've been successful. Your reports have helped them run down and diagnose the key issue that was affecting this process, and they are now working on resolving this.
The not-so-good news is that between some fast development, testing and deployment, the solution won't be online until a little later today (Austin time). When that happens the form should start working for all.
For now, there's no more need to give us your server or character details. Thank you to everyone who did so. We'll give you an update later on today as the solution is rolled out. Once again, apologies for the delay and inconvenience, but we're working hard to resolve the situation."
Thought I'd post it not sure how long it will take a Mod to come into this thread.
That sounds like a fair, reasonable statement.
^ The above should be taken with two grains of salt and a fistful of "chill the F* out".
sounds good to me...
Perhaps we'll be seeing transfers on this side of the pond before 1.3?
Sir Robin, the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot.
Who had nearly fought the Dragon of Angnor.
Who had almost stood up to the vicious Chicken of Bristol.
And who had personally wet himself, at the Battle of Badon Hill.
would be kinda nice
The transfer form is up and running!
Nice to see Bioware coming through on their promises in a relatively short time.
