well that is somewhat funny.
i still wouldnt do it.
and i would have to read combatlog to report everyone who took part in that.
tbh i expected to see clever usage of that spell in raids/dungeons :/
This really makes me wish I wasnt on a server where org is a deadzone 24/7
You have to be grouped with them, so in the halls of the Blizzard report room... not a single f*ck was given that day.
The people who fall for it should appreciate the level of coordination and cleverness needed to pull this trick off. If it isn't obvious, what they're doing is making a vertical chain of priests above the auction house entrance, having one guy stand at the entrance on the ground, and then chain life gripping anyone who takes their group invite, with each priest in the chain hitting grip at the right moment and then levitating down. Seeing that trick should be worth a ten gold repair bill and thirty second corpse run.
Anyway, people who don't want to risk something like this can do so by turning down random group invites. And Blizzard could prevent it by making life grip unusable from flying mounts.
EDIT - As a note, they have to pull their victims from a pretty specific location so it seems likely that they're randomly inviting people at that location rather than doing something like advertising a BH run and hoping that the people who respond are in the right spot.

Brilliant! Always fun to see different ways to use Life Grip
Saw this video. Logged onto wow: "ok guys, those who have 85 priests, log them on now!"....many lols were had tonight. Thanks for sharing.
Haha, that's clever! Thanks for sharing. I love screwing with people as a priest. Have you ever cast levitate on someone just as they are taking the wind chutes on Conclave of Wind in Throne of the Four Winds?
Holy monkeyballs. MUST DO.
