well it is beta, could be a place-holder model
plus, its not always bad to re-use models

MoP is just looking better and better everyday.... It's a nice recolor and it's scale looks phenomenal.

All mantids are currently using nerubian and qiraji placeholder models. Why would this one be any different?

Nah...we've seen the exact same model many many times now. In WotLK mainly.

I'm around 90% sure that Blizzard confirmed at some point that there will be 2 world bosses and we've already found those 2 to be Galleon and the Sha of Anger. Both of which have dungeon journal entries and have 212m health.

It could be a quest yeah but then why does it have ~400M hp and not just 10M or something like that?

And the Sha of Anger had in the previous builds ~340M hp, just FYI.

Are these World bosses, what are they tuned for?
Are they tuned for 10 or 25 man raid groups?
I heard that u actually need 40ish PuGs for these guys

agreed. So far we have reskinned Worgen, Night Elves, Oracles, and more I'm sure to come.

Galleon didn't at first, which is why there was a long speculation thread the first time HE was spotted by farsighting. Just pointing that out =)
