First album I ever bought was Vanilla Ice - Too the Extreme!

Pretty sure my second purchase was much better with Metallica's Black album.

My tastes improved between the two purchases with tons of copies of my older sister's 90's alternative.

Ok then, whats the 1st album you ever pirated then? LOL

Isn't it crazy in retrospect to think about how cross dressing was actually a trend once... and in the world of METAL even?!\

So you said you were 12 or so when you bought it too, what did fans of more serious metal like Megadeth like you, think of stuff like Poison at the time? Haha

October 1995, I was 9 years old and absolutely loved this album. Songs like "Just a Girl" and "Dont Speak" off this album skyrocketed No Doubt into popularity.

Sing the Sorrow is an awesome album.

The first album I ever bought with my own money was Blink 182's Untitled

For the longest time, I refused to buy an album because I never thought it was worth it, since I've always been tight on money, thus thinking paying 15$ for a few songs that I probably won't listen to 2 months later. So, in my case, I waited 17 years too legitimately find a band worthy of shoving money in their face. In fact, I was so excited, I got the 60$ deluxe version for the album. That album, was In Waves by Trivium. To this day, best 60$ I have ever spent.

Cool! Trivium is one of my absolute favorite bands in the whole world

I've bought all of their albums, except Ember To Inferno cause that sounded primitive and rough

My parents made me give away Limp Bizkit - Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water when they found me listening to it, lol.

Growing up in the world of file sharing I had never really bought any albums, but the first album I can remember that I actually loved so much I went out and bought was:

    Gnome Pride!

I probably should be embarrassed but I'm not considering this album sold like fucking hot cakes all across Europe back in 98, especially in Scandinavia.

    Was 10 years old.
