best smp mod for area protection

Hey so me and my friend have had a smp server for just the two of us, that we have been building on for quite some time now, but we have decided that we want some more of our friends on, but we would like to protect some of the things that we have made etc our main castle and cathedral. I have heard of some mod called Izone or Izony, no clue, any mod you can recommend ? we are talking about a 190X260 and 142 high, protected so that only admins can edit in that area

IIRC a mod exists that can lock blocks so only a certain person can place on or remove them.

BTW there's also a mod that can remove creeper damage to the enviroment.
