Combat ress in Arena. MAJOR BUG?

yo, i was playing rogue/mage in 2s yesterday, and we fought a very wierd Lock/Resto druid.

First game, we were on the lock for 5-10 minutes without getting him low because he had full cataclysmic and 403 gear. He didn't get us low either though, because he was specced Destruction.

We switched to the druid once he used all his CDs, and globalled him. Then we met them again, and after we killed the druid, he magically ressurected. didn't give us a big problem since we just killed him in 5 seconds again without any problems since he had no hots and was in full PvE gear.

This happened in the next arena too, and luckily i was frapsing both of them, and in the bottom of this post i'll make a link to it, with both a slightly edited (speed up and slowed & some pan/crop) version, and an unedited version where you can hear my microphone and the rogue in the background, since we were both at my house.

I wanna know whats going on here? did destro locks get a combat ress, or are they cheating/abusing a bug?

Trinket's useless in actual arena, I honestly don't know anyone who'd even consider using it now. It does work, always has, and it was actually semi-common in certain battlegroups back in TBC but nowadays you're just missing out on way too many stats just to have a 10% chance at "fixing" something that shouldn't happen in the first place unless you fail (dying).

SS works as combat ress when the target is dead.

Edit: as other say its trinket since he resses with 20% hp and not 30%.

If there is not a bug including a actual combat ress the level 60 darkmoon trinket might be what happens. It has a chance to work like a combat ress once you die.

Yeah I'm certain that you can cheat in arenas and use combat ress and the only team that knows about is a low ranked 2v2 team.
darkmoon card:twisting nether seems more likely, he ressed with 20% HP and mana.

he probably glitched it before the arena where the buff disappears but is still there. i really dont know though it's weird

i dont see why it's in the game it can mean the difference between a win and a loss and is even more OP for humans

Well, so far every single trinket ingame is available for use in arena, so I wouldn't regard this an exception.

Hate to break it to you. A 10% chance is slim first off.

Secondly, pvp/pve trinkets of current ilvl are far better then it.

So no.

Honestly its not worth the loss of a resi/damage trinket. For a CHANCE to Rez in arena. You don't see any team with a half decent rating using it.
