Give Treyarch 3 years to actualy work on something rather than having stuff finished in half a year (how long has it been since MW3's release anyway?) and they might be able to make a classic (or fail because they are too used to making stuff in short time, although it atleast seems like they're trying to inovate in the C.O.D franchise with the little time they have) I think they ended up with the wrong publisher.

(My experience with Treyarch: World at War and Black Ops, campaigns were interesting, nothing too rememarable but then they had less than a year to finish their stuff)

So they added Blood elfs, Draenei, Death Knights, Worgens, Goblins, and Panda Munks to the raid packages? See, it's pretty much the same as WoW, they don't develop a new game just continue.

Some people like the CoD games, some don't. Some like WoW, others are tired of the shit. That's how it is with every games.

I know I enjoy all the CoD games, but never been a fan of the futuristic scenes of any game types. Well, let's wait and see how it is, I'll probably end up buying this game aswell.

BF3 and MW3 are the reason why I am not wasting my time with this genre and those franchises anymore. I will check a demo maybe of Blops2 but that's probably it, although I own a hard copy of every single CoD game on the PC. Quite sad to be honest.

I honestly believe the best CoD games the made multiplayer wise and funnily enough I also believe they had some pretty good campaigns were CoD 3 and W@W. I just loved CoD 3 for the battles on Eder Dam (favorite map) and other maps, W@W actually brought in a horde mode that I actually like (Zombies) and I loved the maps in that one too.
    Hey everyone

People saying it looks nothing like Call of Duty.

WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU BABBLING ABOUT.

No seriously, It is a FPS based around Warfare. how is that not like every other CoD game.

Inb4 some tard says "BECAUSE ITS NOT DA MODERN SHOOTAH!"

since it seems 99% of people seem to think CoD games started at CoD4, and forget they are set in all different time periods.

You couldn't be more wrong, BF 2142 was DICE favorite project ever, and they have said it many times, we had the best Community manager during that time and not trollolol zh1nt0. DICE back then was DICE. Thats why you can expect a 2143 soon, as DICE has hinted many times they want to go further and make their baby better. The community also loved and still loves 2142. you sir couldn't be more wrong.

Oh and i just BARFED ALL OVER MY SCREEN at that BO2 trailer. Ordering a new monitor now. Thanks Activision.

At least its something new.. Not a map pack (mw2-mw3)

Fingers crossed the games as good as the trailer looks - And if they do get the futuristic feel right then I'll defiantly be buying it

It's too early to judge, but seeing the trailer and what it showed us, I can say that I really look forward to the game. Strange because I've got bored from the typical CoD games, and this one looks very different. The only game from CoD series I enjoyed was Black Ops and MW2 (I played since CoD3 and up to all games except MW3). I ignored MW3 because it was just a copy+paste of MW2.

This is what I heard (Rumours) about the game:
-1/3 of the game will take place around 1980 and the 2/3 in the 2025
-New game types, one new type is that you have to escort an "VIP" in your team to a specific place in the map, just like in the old Counter Strike map.
    -More teamworking MP focus.

I will find the source in a minute.

I loved Call of Duty 5 to death, still playing it till this day.

I'm giving Treyarch another chance, BO was horrible.

Do people play the game for its singleplayer or multiplayer? If its only the multiplayer, then why can't you stick with last years game??

A good example of this is Gears of War 3: Raam's Shadow. Epic could have EASILY released that with a few more chapters and the Force of Nature maps and released it for $60. It's horseshit, yet the gaming community keeps buying into it. It's pathetic how you can dominate a market and release the same crapfests each year, breaking records each time you release a new one. It's single-handedly dragging down the gaming market.
My issue with the CoD is that it's a gaming franchise aimed at the lowest common denominator. The campaign themselves are based around following the guy with an arrow over his head and staying alive until the next scripted event occurs, not to mention the dialogue is so badly written it only serves as a way to introduce the next explosion or gunshot in the game. I can't even argue that the strength of the game lies in the multiplayer because to me that has just become a venue for DLC.

Because IW sucks and so does MW3.

Immutable truth of the Internet: Everybody, fans and haters alike, bitches about Call of Duty.

OT: This is the most interesting-looking Call of Duty in years. Treyarch, at least, should be able to pull a good campaign and some new-style multiplayer out of this.
