But that can be expected, but some of the problems seems a little weird, something that you would find in a beta game.
Looks like how WoW is nearly 10 years after launch. Something you would find in a beta game.

It's worth learning. If you block a power attack you'll stun you enemy, hit them with a heavy attack and you knock them down (giving time for another free heavy attack). It's a BIT micro-managey but it's MUCH more effective than dodging out of the attack if you aren't desperate for health.

When you say, most people.. do you really know most people? Several hundred thousand people or millions of people, that's most people.. and you know that many? Wow! Most people, that you know, perhaps..

Anyways most people that I know, that I play World of Warcraft with, are not tired of World of Warcraft. We are still playing and having fun, we are not even done with our progression in Siege of Orgrimmar normal, plus we do a lot of Firelands and other raids for fun. I personally busy getting my farm fully upgraded and becoming better acquainted with the Shado-Pan and their story, that I have yet to do. Just wanted to say that.

Edge has it right. They use the hero engine to "quick and dirty" test things. The in game engine is their own. There's a couple of posts about it.

In fact "hero engine elder scrolls online" finds it almost immediately for those too lazy to string a search together.

I only mention the Customer Support forum for Elder Scrolls Online, because there was quite few serious problems, which is not shared here and that it coud be nice for people to know here in this community, before they buy the game. Also, there is no need to be so defensive about it by posting links to Customer Support for another game that has nothing to do with Elder Scrolls Online.

And I responded by saying there will always be issues in any game, including games that are as old as WoW as their customer service forums are flooded with complaints and problems. The people with problems represent a tiny minority. Based on your post history, you have a lot of love for WoW and I am glad. You are on the wrong thread.

There are other threads you can profess your love of WoW for.
I'm not. I didn't even mention any other game in my post that you replied to. Glad that's over, thank you. Let's stick to the topic.

Nightblades are a really good choice for a healer, which surprised me a lot. A good video demonstrating their strength.

I played for about 10 hours today which is my absolute limit. Except for one bugged quest to level 15, the first day was nearly flawless. I had some lag jitters in Auridon, but from there on it was smooth sailing. Extremely impressed with what ZoS has managed the whole thing, starting in the morning is a really good idea.

Spotting the runes IS a bit of a pain, check the other sides of tree's/rocks next to roads. I tend to find that's where runes like to hide. Break down any you find too (cos there's plenty of crap ones you get in boss drops).

It will eventually be a damn useful skill but yeah, that's one for later to me too. Will get blacksmith up first.

Am tempted to play an alt to level 20 (about...4 days worth of fairly solid play, find all the skyshards I have access to at that level) then respec and take craft skills.

In terms of lasting, all MMOs see a decline after launch, including WoW with its recent expansions. MMOs don't grow. They either decline slowly or drastically.
Tbh, Wildstar is more like WoW 2.0 than 0.5 .

Why did I stop playing WoW after 9 years?

    - They removed the talent trees and added "pick a skill".

    - Catered around casuals.

While I am not going to buy Wildstar (or at least that is what I think now, when I bought ESO and are playing from tomorrow), I would rather play WS than try WoD again, simply because Wildstar has elements Blizzard removed, to make the game catered around people who doesnt give crap about character development (I know there truly haven't been any "true" character development, but 71 points is more development than 6 points right?)

This is fucked. I have done every single quest to the point I am at and am 2 levels behind the content. And because I am 2 levels behind the content AND playing with 200-400 ms due the fact there is no fucking aussie servers. I am stuck on an elite that I can't get past. So now I have a player that is stuck and can't progress anywhere. I liked the beta but this is pissing me off so bad I am feeling like I want to cancel my preorder.

Huh? How is that possible? It sounds weird to me, you sure you done all there is to be done?

    What level are you?

Perhaps go do some PVP quests? Or do the dungeons?

71 surely is more character development than 6 alright. Between that and itemisation gone while levelling, character development really has gone from wow. And it's a pity cause it plays such an important role, at least for me. This about teso I'm loving to bits. The absolute freedom to develop your character whichever way you want.
Every class can be played as anything, wielding anything, wearing anything. It adds depth to my game. My chars aren't bland and common (even if maybe they are). The choice of what they are is up to me.
    Well done zenimax.

Actually the levelling in Wildstar is so bland, there is zero feel to the character development. The 71 points are just pointless stats really as it is obvious what to choose and Blizz gave their reasons for getting rid of such stupid features.

ESO however is fantastic for that.

Levelling in WoW is just there for the sake of being there though (like Wildstar), it's the best game overall out the 3 though.

Yes. I went and checked up on guides to see if I missed anything. I haven't. I am pretty sure my XP has bugged out at some point and missed out on a bunch.

Im going to take a guess that you didnt go back and do the starter zone. I was 2 levels under current content when i skipped this also. Found it easy to make up though an hour of crafting and exploring sorted me.
