It's now possible to raid with no addons (they added proper raid frames, they suck though) with all the features they have added, they still suck compared to the addons available, I sometime wonder why they bothered, probably for new players who don't know about addons.Originally Posted by Sharuko

The question is: will players give the game the time to get everything straight? No mmo, even WoW, started polished, WoW vanilla was pretty bad in most aspects, but it was new, there was no real alternative and so players stayed, gave the developers time to develop most aspects of PVE and PVP and addons.

Also about API. Inn Rift the API is somewhat restricted Ive heard, so not many addons can be made, despite what the awesome addon developers would like

The beta isn't going to open up earlier like it did last time. The ONLY reason why they opened it earlier for the last test was because the European testers were upset that the servers were opening up in the middle of the night for them.
The servers are opening up earlier this test compared to all the other ones due to the fact that they have European testers now.

I had fully downloaded the client yesterday and I just opened it now (just because) and it started downloading a ~50mb patch. Anyone confirm?

This game was not on my radar till about 2 months ago, I usually stick with NCSoft games for some reason, WildStar was my next stop. Played it and loved it, will be subbing to this on both PC and PS4.
