    Go here: http://elderscrollsonline.com/en/

Click on the Account tab. Enter your user name (not your email address) and your password. If you can successfully log in to your account, you'll be just fine for early access.

Thanks. I should have thought of that. It's late (for me). x_z

    Fucking shitty elder scrolls homepage.

I thought my userid was my email, so I did a reset on password. When I make a new password, it says I may not use the old one i used.

No I may NEVER use the password I normally use for my games. FU Zenimax.

Asked for reset wipe or account deletion so I can make a new one.

God damn it. I waited so long for nothing!

I asked if it was possible to reuse my old password or they could delete my account so I can use my original password, all I get is I can change the password myself.

Fuck off! I dont want to use some fucking password I cant remember because of their ***** password policy.

They wont even delete my account so I can recreate a new.

    Talk about shitty customer service.

Uhh if you had read you wouldn't have had this problem. It's not zenimax's problem that you don't want to use a new password.

Hey fanboy, in ANY other game I may reuse my password.

Mistakes were made from my side, I admit it - giving I thought my E-Mail was my username. But do I really have to get punished to either make a new account or a password that does not match ANY other game I play because of their shitty system?

You need to calm down. A great deal of sites don't allow you to reset your password to the previous one, because it's assumed that if you lost your password, someone else could have accessed it and it could be compromised. You should not be using the same password for everything online and ranting illogically about how they are trying to protect you is silly. Just use a different password.

If you really want to be obtuse about it, you may be able to get around the system by changing the password to someone else, and then changing it back to the original one. Some systems won't allow any old passwords to be used; some will only disallow the previous password being used.

I tried to make a new one, and then make it back, which I may not do.

So I have to use a password that is nothing like any other of my games.

Come on, do you have unique password to all 50+ games you played that required an online account?

I don't have 50+ games, but yes, I use different passwords for the majority of online applications. It's actually been proven by studies to be safer to use a different password for everything - and write it down in a notebook next to your PC (physical, not to store it on your PC), than it is to use the same password for multiple applications.

At the end of the day you can use whatever system you want, but getting all insulting and ranting/swearing because of a standard system used by a lot of online companies, to protect you, is not going to solve your problems.

This is exactly what I do. Also, you can make a list of words and use them mixed up as passwords separated by special characters or numbers. Actually makes for a strong password that way.

    Example: White*Piano*Star*Mouse86

Have they released a list of servers or something, if so, anyone know which faction/servers the Aussies decided to go to?

There are only north american and european regions; TESO uses megaservers, there are no other servers that you choose to connect to.

Oh that's awesome, no hassle choosing a server then!

I am looking forward to the 'megaserver' wonder how it will work on the long term.

    Please, calm down....

You should not be using the same passwords for ANY platform, website, email, game etc. Consider this is a blessing that you have learned what NOT to do without actually suffering the consequences of it.

And YES, I have a different password for EVERY SINGLE THING I have online...which is MANY. Take no chances.

It's been a long time since I've played an mmo that lets you pick any race, any class, any weapon, and any armor.

Asherons Call...probably my most favorite MMO that I ever played. Many, many fond memories of that amazing GIANT sandbox mmo. Its still sub based (12.99) after like 15 years!

I wonder if we will hit 1k pages before headstart, before relase? 100% sure. There are more and more market-ah-like pages coming each day, I wonder which one will end as the king of the hill, but considering there are soo many of them and more will come, I think people won't use them that much or just pick one thanks to forum/good ingame advertising.

  18. #19178
Exactly what do you need to be able to play during early access? :/

A place where I have ordered my games for years may have finally failed me. I did get early access code from them long ago, but do I need the actual game code (not the early access code) to play. Or maybe early access lets me play the first few days?

I assume the preorder bonus stuff comes with the early access code? Since I will be pissed otherwise.

I can only imagine it being a troll. If not, a lot of angry people there will be. A lot of names getting reserved.
