Have you tried changing weapons to see what changes?

That's what I'm doing right now.

Far as I know (read: barely anything at all, as I've only played Torchlight), dual wielding will always be better.

The only difference I've noticed is that the daibo is noticeably slower and hits harder each hit. Not much though. There needs to be a bigger difference in dps between the weapons to make it reasonable to switch.

Depens to you the passive that gives dodge when your duel wielding or spirit regen if your using a 2h weapon.
