The new animations, aaaaaaaall the way
(This signature was removed for violation of the Avatar & Signature Guidelines)
Animations, Dynamic Skill use and some really nice Minor Glyphs
They're very mobile. So mobile that they are declared "the mobile" class on the character creation screen.
FFXIV - Maduin (Dynamis DC)
Animations and the fact that you beat the shit out of your opponents with your bare hands (with glyph of jab).
1. It's a new class. and i just really like new stuff. For me new class >= new race every day of the week
2. They can heal. which is prolly enough for me to try to power level one to 90 as soon as i can
3. New animation and new mechanics used by no other class (did i mention i like new stuff ?)
unarmed tanks.... it's a two for one on 'things Gallahadd Loves' #
to expand. I have two great loves in RPG's Unarmed Combat classes (I have a level 20 3rd DnD 3rd ed monk I've been playing pretty much since 3rd ed came out ) and Tanks (only chars I regularly play in WoW are my four tanks) so if you combine an Unarmed Combat class with a tanking class, there's no way I WOULDN'T roll one, and probably make it my main.

Zen flight definitely. That and the entire Mistweaver spec, all good stuff
Guys you have to watch this, it's the perfect example of how a Brewmaster should fight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebL_gVmIC-A
aye great movies, it always made me laugh that the same Wong Fei-hung is the same character in both Drunken master, played comedically, but brilliantly, by Jackie Chan and once apon a time in China, played VERY straight laced, but equally brilliantly by Jet Li.
OT: You can really see the inspiration for alot of Monk moves in those films, I'm just a bit sad they didn't use the names of the Dunken Gods for our stances WTB 'Stance of Ms Ho' as our Tank stance

My best movie of all time is Drunken master, I've been practicing Martial arts for more than 19 years now, so yeah if I don't go Monk what should I go ?
