    Just wondering if FF14 has a trial or anything like that?

    At the moment no, there might be one in the fall when they release their new engine.

    Since I had bought the game I participated in the Welcome Back campaign and its not very noob friendly. Even some post on the official forums are saying to newbies to not come to the little elitist paradise.
