Diablo 3 Requires a newer operating system to run

Hi guys/galls

I played the Beta version of D3 without problems on max settings and now that its gone live I am unable to play it o0

My specs

Windows 7 - 64-bit
12 GB Internal RAM
Loads of GB on HDD
AMD Phenom II X4 965

4870 (cant remember but its a 48** serie, Dont want to open my PC :P )

So the only thing not 'good' enough is my Videocard but I fail to see the problem since I was abke to play the Beta (Yes I know beta is not finnished blabla) but I doubt they changed it that much.

So . .more wiht that problem or do I have to buy a new VC (dont say yes to fast)

anyway I think It is solved .. by keep clicking INSTALL it just started installing
21% and counting .. SO I hope it works now

Either run as administrator or run your Windows Updates... That should fix the problem.

What problem/Error are you getting if any?
I have the same GPU and run the game on all High settings except for shadows on medium. 24" monitor 1920x1080

I was having this problem before. Just re-install the setup for D3 and it should work.

Hardware shouldnt be either tbh

Something isn't right if it is telling him he needs a newer operating system while having windows 7.

It's expecting a certain Windows update to be installed... Run your windows updates and it will fix the issue. My friend had the same problem.

Are you using SP1, have you tried running it in admin mode?

Anyway .. for some odd reason it works .. like a sun :d all settings high and all

@ others .. I keep my OS updated aswel as my Videocard but thanks anyway
