Hey i was having the problem that my screen went black for 3 sec and then turned back on when i played diablo 3..
i checked my temperature and it was only 45 celsius
My grapich card is nvidia gtx 680 wind force 3 x
cpu:3570k
Psu:ax 750

Check out Technical Support on the Diablo 3 forums. I'm fairly sure there are others experiencing this same thing and there might be a fix in there.

This. I had to update my drivers too. Diablo 3 told me about my out-of-date driver and my Nvidia control panel did nothing of the kind. -.-

Eh, I had received a warning from the D3 launcher that my drivers weren't up to date, so I downloaded and installed new drivers and my screen would stay black. Had to boot in safe mode and restore from my last update. Luckily it kept my D3 download and my torrents, but using the "outdated" drivers isn't having any negative effect on my game so far. I'm having this black out issue as well, but Diablo nor Evga told me that my drivers were out dated

Actually, a TON of people are having this issue. My friend included. Updating drivers and whatever doesn't work. It's on Blizzards end. Hope they get this fixed VERY soon, because they won't even respond to anyone with this problem on either EU or US forums.

Has anyone found an actual fix for this yet?
I've seen suggestions to:
- Update drivers
- Change to full-screen windowed mode
- Lower forground fps to around 50 from 150 default
Tried all these, and the issue is still there.

it is really annoying that i can't play diablo 3 functional
