Whirlwind Barbarian

This was my main in D2. And i intend to be heavily whirlwind focused in D3 also. Im currently at lvl 18 and can see whirlwind coming at lvl 20. I know once i get home from work today ill have whirlwind before the night is done.

How many other barbs love this skill? Used to play D2 WW barb? And how does the skill feel in D3?

I'm loving it so far (level 40). Ground Stomp rune that pulls enemies in is awesome, and necessary for the build I feel. It clumps up and stuns everything in a large radius for WW to chop them up. I'm also using Leap with Iron Impact (you really need the defense in act2 nightmare+) as well as Revenge for the extra healing and fury when runed. As for Whirlwind rune, I used the tornadoes for a while, but now I'm finding the Blood Siphon life leech rune saves my ass a lot if I don't get an early Revenge proc.

It's pretty amazing. I was running a WW build in groups but found myself dying a lot when you're playing solo. Leveling with another warrior partner is ideal though.

One warrior specs for cleave, stomp, buffs and plays sword and board. Other warrior specs for rend, WW using a 2H.

You can tear through massive packs so easily.

Any idea if blocks aren't being counted as hits for purposes of activating Revenge? I've noticed long periods of time without Revenge lighting up, even when I just jumped into the middle of a huge pack.
