Please tell me this games get better passed the skeleton king

The game does get better, and there are always extra places in the map, as the correct route is not always clear on your first play-through. TBH, I had twice as much fun by the time I was approaching 20, I just didn't have enough abilities before to make it all that exciting. Nonetheless, if you really don't like what you see so far, I wouldn't waste any money on it or at least wait for a sale.

Also, there's no way I'm ever going to see Inferno mode because there isn't a snowball's chance in hell I'm going to force myself to play through that same boring content two more times.

The second time through you breeze through the content itself focusing on killing things, staying alive, etc. My first time through I'm taking it slow. Level 19 and just killed the queen.
