HA, I would love seeing that.

But no DayZ is an amazing game, played it many nights... at night in game too and with all the sounds around me without night vision... man; it is one well executed game.

2x FAL without scopes so we left them there, 1x L85 AWS and a PP-19. not the best loot but still funny how close they were to each other.
Today we logged back to our "home" server and found some vehicles:

I love the L85 for spotting, we've got people through walls with the m107 at 1km using the thermal and catching a glimpse of a cowering mans foot .

Hopefully not too long before zombies are a little more like the ones in this mod, but, faster a wee bit faster moving:



I also like the map that's used. Wouldn't mind a barren wasteland type map with low foliage and vast plains.

I just started playing it today died many times until i found a way to reach the big city and found a makarov and a revolver in same building , took revolver because i had more bullets but the question is when you go prone can zombies see you ?

They can see you, but they have to be pretty close to notice you.
You can see how visible you are by the eye and ear icons on the bottom right side, if there are 0 marks next to them, then they can´t see you even if you walk almost all the way up to them, if there is 4-5 then they can see you or hear you from 50-100m away.
It all depends if your playing at night, walking on grass or pavement , in high grass etc.

Yea, the main drawback of this game to me is the glitchy zombies and their teleport powers, but alpha is alpha.

I also like the map that's used. Wouldn't mind a barren wasteland type map with low foliage and vast plains.

I also want a wasteland type map, with a Las Vegas style major city. And if a map like that is made, there better be a lamborghini spawn. I want to go flying down the vacant highway.

After connecting to a diferent sever yesterday i spawned in same hotel in Chernogorsk i found a revolver,binocluras,another pistol,compas i tried to guide myself out of the city by using the dayz browser map as i got to a roof of one building in the city i alt tab since some one was sapmming me on steam -.- , alt tab back and it seems a sniper got me .
Respawned near kamenka was kinda hard to find anything, i actually swam thinking it would be faster and realised today that i lost my inventory yesterday because of that haha after that i decided to go up to Pavlovo there i found one guy he was also noob and after going together i just lost him in the woods O.o , no loot in that city also then i go to a barn near zelenogorsk and find a hatchet finally a weapon! Then i sneak into shop in zelenogorsk and i find watch ,compas, lots of food, and loots of drinks all of my bars were pretty much red so that saved me. Im having a blast in this game but i still need a teammate if any1 is interested i live in GMT+1 and my steam nickname is Minjon

Was looking around Stary Sobor for heli crashes... i had 10k blood and i got hit by a zombie and i broke a bone without any morphine... F*CK! Need to wait for friends to log on to continue, just hope they log on today >_>'

Well i had to kill myself, i spawned in the middle of a desert way off the map.. a so called "Debug zone". I lost everything you could think of... nightvision, range finder, AS50, supressed M9, Supressed Mp5, GPS, (and all the other basic toolbelt items)... uhg.. that's all i can say.

Whelp, my 20+ day character died to zombies and random broken leg while running (I guess I stepped on a rock?). Oh well. She was infected anyways, and no matter how many trips to a hospital could never find any antibiotics, so I was actually kind of relieved that I could reroll and not have to deal with everything being dull and grey anymore. Just had a friend run down to the coast and pick me up in a truck. Have quite a stash going on since our tents apparently like to duplicate everything on server restart. We don't have to do supply runs, ever.

I would, but not sure the times would work out lol, GMT -5 here. Just started playing again last night, so looking for someone as well.

Also did they get rid of concertina wire? Didn't play for very long last night, but I didn't see any around. Which was surprising because it seemed to be at every major weapon spawn location before xD

You can get serious injuries from opening doors, it's one of many glitches.
I'd also recommend you to NOT crawl on large rocks. I died when I did that. You should even avoid running over them. So if you see a rock or a stone wall, run around it.

Ah right thanks for the information.

It definitely has the potential to be it's own game, it's much better than ARMA2. It's similar to how Counter Strike was originally a mod for HL but is now its own game.

They are finally sorting the tent bug (where it can duplicate gear)

I also own a boat now so we will be doing daily runs to and from our secret camp! Still have not found a bus. I also lost my quad bike =[ flipped it over while driving.

Only vehicles i've found so far are; Bicycle, Pickup, UAZ, Lada (car) and a Bus. I really want a tractor though .

Today I found a heli with an l85A2 and an M249, 3 minutes after that I found a motorbike. I spend the next 4 hours escorting my friends places and when my friend asks to drive it for a minute, he drives it into a lake in under 30 seconds, claims "server lag". This is the same friend who crashed the working heli I found and the 2 buses I let him drive. Every time it is either server lag or glitches>.>. Sorry just venting at losing the best vehicle=[.

Lmfao, I am completely new to the game but that had me laughing, bad luck dude
