Anyway, I can't help but picture this in Super Smash Bros. style fighting, because that's where I know her best from. Samus charges up her blaster, grabs Yoda, and fires. I'd say Samus's suit protects her enough that she can get off her attacks in time.

people underestimate Samus. She's got a ton of weapons, including her Power Bomb thing. Not to mention how flexible she is and uhhh.... what were we talking about?

I'm voting for Samus. She's got the moves to beat an old green thing. Plus she has much better range. Yoda wouldn't be able to get close enough to her.

I honestly feel this competition has problems, (In that 1/2 the fighters are from Dragonball, & that it's more of a popularity contest than a who would win in a fight. But I digress)
I voted for samus as her arsenal seems far more technologically advanced than yoda's. The lightsaber may be able to deflect blaster shots in star wars, but Samus' arm cannon is capable of making lethal projectiles larger than yoda. Not to mention tracker missiles, plasma blasts, freezing, ect. I wouldn't give yoda the BotD with force because only sith seem to be able to use the force to cause harm.

TL;DR: Highly disciplined Xiaolin Monk versus Marine. Despite training, the one with better technology wins
