E3 Microsoft (Xbox) Press Conference Discussion

Very bad... as usual the same old IPs keeping the 360 relevant... Halo, Gears... a to top it all off with the biggest Multi-platform game Black Ops 2.

For what it's worth GTTV is doing polls beside the stream and 84% of the people watching their site hated the presentation. So it was pretty reviled.

No because to be honest Kinect works with it because it doesn't necessarily look for pristine movement like other games try with the kinect. Dance Central is fine.

Well, I know some shooter fans are going to like this presentation. But aside from that, there were like 2-3 games that I actually liked. The rest were just meh. And I think Usher was very out of place with that Dance Central segment. A weird place to hold a mini-concert at.

My only problem with dance central 2 is that some moves seem to be very loose in how they track and others want you to be incredibly precise. I hope 3 is more consistent.

Im a big fan off xbox and last year i thought was to kinect based and they have done the same again this year!? i mean come on! whats happened to supporting us "more hardcore" players, anyone that has played kinect knows that after half an hour you just get bored and go back to your controller... the only good things i think that came from this was the new splinter cell, tomb raider, halo 4 looks cool but im not a huge halo fan but what saved this for me was the new gears of war (yes im a huge gears fan) atleast epic are still supporting the more hardcore players and yes another call of duty which to be honest looks more like crysis and still looks horrendous!

Edit: oh and the south park games looks like it could be fun

So does anyone have a written summary of everything that happened, maybe a few videos if interesting. I honestly don't care to much currently, the only one I might actually watch in full is Nintendo's because I want to see what they are going to do with the Wii U.

my thought process "yay halo looks pretty cool" "splinter cell looks alright" "UGH I DONT CARE ABOUT MOVIES ON AN IPAD WITH AN XBOX WITH A TV SHOW THING RAWR SHOW TEH GAMES!!! ugh.... if i wanted to play a sports game with motion controls and voice commands id go outside and play it... gears of war looks pretty good, wow... did she just say rad? tomb raider is badass! south park is badass! ughhhhh i want to stab usher with a fork.. ascend looks kind of cool no idea what it is though..."

i dont remember the rest i was so bored, was expecting better then all the kinect of last year and more games instead we got a couple cool games then a bunch of crap about ipads with movies and usher dancing.. 4 out of 10.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was the only game that looked interesting in my opinion. :S

lol ign talking up the new guns on COD:BO2... and saying how impressive it looks lol "quite easy to excited about them games" haha, really? new guns/maps with horrible voice acting is nothing to get excited about.
