I usually take your advice but I'm gonna stick with this RAM, but I will go back to the Samsung SSD.
What do you normally stick on your SSD? I mean besides OS.

The RAM is about as Overkill as you can get considering you are only getting 16GB.

PSU is overkill
Motherboard is overkill
CPU is wasted money
SSD is wasted money

I really don't know what to say other then you are spending a lot of money on pointless things(it is your money so I guess it is alright)

PSU I want plenty of breathing room for my parts and SLI.
MOBO great choice for OC and 5 year warranty excellent cooling.
CPU I want plenty of power and will not need to upgrade it for a long time, sure new comes out but the software will need to catch up to that.

Computer parts don't get short of breath. Two GTX 670s use less than 400W together. 1kW PSUs are for crazy people that want to run four GTX 680s on an overclocked X79 build.

CPU I want plenty of power and will not need to upgrade it for a long time, sure new comes out but the software will need to catch up to that.

The 3770K will last just as long as the 3570K. Games do not use hyperthreading, and as long as gaming consoles don't support it, games won't either.

SSD I'm guessing you don't have one or you know very little about them.

There were a lot of problems with the vertex 3 SSDs, get Intel, Samsung or crucial instead. If you must get a 200+GB one, get this one instead:

I'm plan to OC the PC and the nice thing with that PSU if I do go to bigger GPU (SLI) down the road I won't have to worry if the PSU can handle it.
I changed the SSD to http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820147134 I don't *think* I'll need any bigger then that, and even if I do the case has plenty of room to add to it.
And as for core I'm getting huge mixed signals about which I should get. It's almost 50/50 with them from people.
Here since I also plan to use the PC as a hook up to my HD TV will it be the same with an i5 vs i7?
I doubt it'll matter but may as well be sure.

And on another note a different forum I go to I actually had a guy tell me to get crap parts (not exact words but close enough) because better will come out.
It was my only "wtf" moment of this planned build.

I don't have to worry too much about prices since I get big discounts through corporate seller I know.
My last build it I bought even with sales would have ran me roughly $1,300 I got it all for $800.

That's why I said to ignore the prices listed I use them for reference for my guy.

There is no two-way SLI or crossfire configuration using modern cards (7000 series AMD and 600 series nVidia) other than two GTX 690s or HD 7990s(not even released yet) that would require more than a 750W PSU. The trend with graphics cards is now to produce more processing power while consuming less electricity. The days of 300+W consuming GTX 480s are long gone. Overclocking the CPU will add about 40W to its 77W stock maximum power draw. Overclocking two graphics cards will add about 60W to their stock maximum power draw of about 180W.

Are you planning on rendering videos or images for more than 4 hours per day, every day? If the answer is not a resounding "YES", you do not need an i7 processor.

And I've actually gotten into a fight about some of my parts on another forum.
1st was about my MOBO they say it's crap and actually "highly" suggest I get a lesser MOBO with much less options and honestly looks like shit.

I don't have to worry about a OS since I own Windows 7 and this PC I'm using now I'm giving someone else and they are sticking in their own HDD.
I'll just have to make a call to Microsoft to get the key activated.

If I was you , I would not think about SLI for the moment, because a single GTX670 Is already overkill for the games that you play (Seriously a 150$ GPU would do tha Job (we're talking constant 60fps on ultra @ 1080p) but hey if you want to buy another 670 later for a more demanding game, well you will be able to upgrade because the 750W PSU can easily handle an OCd i5 3570k and two OCd GTX670.
