Hello, first time poster, long time viewer. made my account just now, so on with my question.
I have a friend making a gaming pc for me since I don't know much on how to build one myself.
I understand some of the parts well enough and looking for a graphics card that could fit my budget of around $100-110. Cheaper without loosing performance is even better.
I was looking around on amazon and I find one very cheap card from Galaxy, The Galaxy Geforce GTX 460 at $102. Is there a reason for such a low price on this particular card? I wouldn't want to buy it and find out that it is some green card or something similar to it.
I prefer the Nvidia line of cards, but AMD will be fine with me as well.
Currently have plans on playing Guild Wars 2 and would like to play it maxed out with a 60fps. Other games I am not as so concerned about, but would really like for them to run well also. Thanks for reading and for any help you may have!
Here are the following specs of the computer.
1920 x 1080 screen resolution
i5 3570k at 4.2GHz
AsRock Z77 Extreme 4
Seasonic 560W
8GB G.Skill 1600

Oh I had another question to. Is it fine to buy graphics cards used or refurbished as long as the person selling has a high positive rating?
