    You need a guest pass (there are 2 passes in every D3 copy afaik), you can ask for one here:

    Unlimited amount of time, but you can't level your heroes further than level 10 (I think) and the way after the Skeleton King is locked. You can only play multiplayer with other guest pass holders.
