Seriously now..this just -has- to cause backproblems.

Now, is it me, or would she just snap at that twig thin waist?

Artwork like this, while being welldrawn and colured, just makes me facepalm, her waist is simply idiotic..

So one cannot speak ones opinion unless one can mimic a act?

    Rather silly I think.

Its Art. Everyone has a different point of view for ART. For me it looks just awesome. Why did you have to make a thread just to state your negative opinion?

I am aware of her race, that does not explain a otherwise borderline anorectic body coupled with a rack that could belong to a pornstar.

Contrary opinions seem to upset you, dear. Maybe have a cup of tea, take a nice walk

Nah I see thin chicks in real life with tiny waists with double d's, mostly athletic chicks; joggers, walkers, cyclists, etc...

Also: people pick heavy objects up all the time, and they don't snap in half.

Okay okay, as an artist, I need to state something.
While there is such a thing as stylization, there's no problem with at least slightly adhering to a basic guideline/skeletal structure, -even- if it's a fantasy race. Night elves are just -bigger- humans, underneath it all. They have a skeletal structure very, very similar. Just because they're night-elves does not mean they can wriggle and turn like a wacky-inflateable-arm-tube-man.

That being said, the picture is very, very nice, but the way she's walking and facing just looks uncomfortable. It looks stiff, and not natural. And I really can't understand how she can be facing that way with her upperbody, but her belly-button is still pointed straight forward.

It seems if I state my opinion on a piece of art, I am wrong for doing so, which makes me ponder, why is that so?

My opinion on this piece of art is that it is welldrawn and coloured, but the proportions, ELF or not, is simply idiotic.

Isn't it somewhere that Night Elves have stronger muscles than we do, it's not really the size of the waist it's the strength. I guess the only problem is that Night Elves should really be a lot more ripped rather than smooth.

I'd much rather point out that she looks like she's an amputee / hop hop hop (I know shes running, bare with me here)

    P.S: Octomom, gross.

I guess, the waist is stylized, you can dislike it but it was a decision by the artist so it doesn't really matter if you think it's idiotic. Her direction, where her upper body doesn't match with the direction of her mid section is simply a mistake.

You are not wrong in stating your opinion. It's just so happens that your opinion is wrong.

She feels fine and her strong spine doesn't care about your opinion.
