You control a 4-man group in a huge world where you can go where you want, for example to high level areas early and so on. It has turn based combat with action point system and interesting interaction with world objects (set things on fire etc).
that sounds interesting. i checked out gothic but the combat system doesnt sound like my forte how exactly does it work? most of the reviews i saw were kind of spotty on the combat. the best description i found was it had some kind of combo system similiar to dragon age 2 where you press buttons to continue a combo.

yeah it was apparently made by piranha bytes. also do you know of any sandbox based games like oblivion or grand theft auto crackdown something like thats either a shooter or rpg?

It has lots of basic MMO-style quests (killing, looting) and the world is really large, although it's split in smaller themed areas, just like Zones in MMO's.

You might enjoy it though, as Ken Rolston, the lead designer from Oblivion has been a part of making this game, along with R.A. Salvatore and Todd McFarlane. The game has somewhat clumsy interface (lot's of menus) but it _might_ be moddable on PC though.
i thought ea's games still require origin even from steam though?

No, they don't, at least not all of them. I played Mass Effect 1 on Steam some months ago and didn't need Origin. But I can imagine the newer ones are only available to play on Origin (not sure though).

Hey guys. Looking for some new games. Anyone can recommend any good ones?

I like games with high customization. I don't mean skin and hair colour. Examples of this would be games like Guns and Robots, Exteel, Robocraft etc. Games where you can customize individual armor pieces of your character that you can unlock, with a variety of play styles. Fantasy, or futuristic. Third or first person.

Alternatively, games where you can build things. I like creating things. Yes I already tried Minecraft.

As well as these, I also enjoy survival horror games, RE4 is one of my favouritest games and I've already completed Revelations, 5 and 6 as well as Dead Space 2 and 3, but not the original, the space ship really unnerved me.

I like games that have a variety of transport options, weather it's foot, horse, motorbikes or helicopters. I enjoyed Unturned, 7D2D and a Dead Rising 3. I don't particularly like zombies but...

All of them have a nice open world where you can roam around and do what you like. I like that. I like it a lot.

So, anyone got any suggestions for me?

I got a question not sure if it fits this thread but here it go's.

Should I get Demon's Souls. To start off I originally hated Dark Souls but started to enjoy it once I learned to go the right way at the start also the drake sword did ease me in and let me enjoy the game more feel free to hate on me for using it lol.. I have never gotten really far in DS1 but I have beat DS2 in mostly Co-Op. I am doing a No Co-Op run on my NG+ and so far I have killed I think the first 6 boss's or so.

The thing I loved about DS2 and hated about DS1 is the travel system. I do like how in DS2 I could build my character anyway I wanted and would do ok as long as I knew how to dodge/parry. I have considered giving DS1 another go as well but it runs like shit on my current PC.

Demon's Souls has me interested even more so since I hear its harder then DS1 and I think it will tie me over until Blood Borne comes out.

Also to add in Demon's Souls can I build my character kinda how I want and still beat it at lease on NG. Like if I wanted to dual wield or go tanky with sword and shield I can?

looking for for some spaceship related games (something like the space combat in star wars empire at war would be awesome) or perhaps just a good 4x game (bonus if the space game has star wars mods available)

While they're not necessarily ''farm games'', I figure I'd chime in with two games for Android (as someone who doesn't game much on the phone) that I quite enjoy:

Majesty [free] / Majesty full game [paid] / Majesty expansion [paid].

    Kingdom Rush [paid]
    Kingdom Rush Frontiers [paid]

Majesty is an RTS where you don't have direct control over your units; you can incentivize them with attack / reward flags, but their behavior depends on what they are (thieves want to steal / get money, warriors want to eliminate threats, rangers want to explore the map (uncover the fog of war), etc).

Kingdom Rush is a tower defense game. I can't think of anything 'special' about it, it's simply done very well, and easily one of the best TD's out there, period.

Those are the only games I play on my Android; hope that helps. :x

After getting an inkling for some NFSU2, I installed it, but ended up wanting something more modern. Tried Hot Persuit, and it had the absolutely worst rubber-band AI that I've ever seen. It's also not free-roam.

Anyone have any good recommendations for a modern NFSU2-style game that's open world and supports car customization? Drifting events is a bonus. Absolutely can't have rubber-band AI, at least not a significant amount. When I'm 5sec ahead of you, you shouldn't really be able to catch me if I don't mess up.

And... disregard whatever i said. It seems very unfair how after getting to level 10 leaving Begginer Matchmaking you get throw into the wolves of people who paid real cash for better guns or are game veterans.
Gonna try Blacklight Retribution tomorrow and see if its any good.
