    I did a Gorge this morning, Zana spawned within. She opened another map (Arcade?) with 2 rogue exiles and increased monster packs. Clear both maps. Zana daily- double bosses.

    Agreed, Zana was a fantastic add, especially the possibility of her giving free unique maps =p
    Even though I have never seen one and don't expect to ever see one. I have a friend who has seen paradise over 10 times and I'll probably not see it myself for two years, RNG is RNG


    Her timed missions really piss me off though. Even for my wings build that can easily leap slam rush a map, a 60 second timer to kill two exiles is just awful and half the time it seems to come with physical resist to slow me down just enough to make clearing white packs not efficient enough either. 5 minutes to get to and kill the map boss was fairly entertaining though pretty painful in a group.

    I'd like to see her get maps with race mods like EE, Ancestral, BLAMT, Famine, etc. I think those could be a lot of fun, and challenge a number of builds, so long as the risk/reward was there.

    Isn't Ancestral just like "Area contains many totems"?

    Most will not pay currency for BLAMT mods. It'd be a waste for most builds at high level, too risky and/or a waste of daily. The last one would enrage Zana chain groups.

    I like the idea of race mods as map mods but you gotta be able to control it somewhat via master craft or something.

    Do you actually plan on getting all masters to 8? I'm not convinced it's even possible in 3 months. I'd love to go for 8/8 but this one is giving me huge doubts.

    Zana is great but I'm not sure what's going on with the mods in her maps. I don't wanna complain too much about free maps, but every time I get the 60% speed mod and I'm there with bone rhoas flying past me like bullets I think to myself 'well at least this map must have good quantity since normal fleet mod alone is like 30%' and then I check and the map is like 10% IIQ.

    edit: And I rushed to do Zana daily before reset, quest is find a unique item, no time limit, promenade map, looking good... Aaaand it's sea witches again. Got a Brightbreak and (thank god) a Bazaar map at least.

    Got the 6th challenge done just now thanks to some crazy guy spawning Abaxoth in a Mao Kun map. And yes I'm going for 8/8 again, Elreon is 7, Zana soon 7 and the others are half way to 7. It's all about grinding maps fast, I basically run 66-72 maps white and skip most mobs to look for masters. Each map takes 2-5 minutes.

    Leveling the classes will be done tomorrow or the day after at the latest for 7 challenges.

    How does armor and weapon scaling work in this game?

    I'm at level 52 and about to finish the second run through (Cruel hardness I think). Most of the gear I've seen drop has been into the 30's and 40's but nothing close to what I current have on my character. I still have most of the gear I received playing Standard difficulty.

    I'm trying to do a Frenzy+Flicker strike build but I just don't hit hard enough (anymore) and my armor is like tissue paper.

    Weapons and armor dont scale, for leveling you should use armor with HP + Res that you need the most, what kind of weapon are you using? and what gem you have linked with frenzy and flicker? There are some spot where you can go back and farm like the docks and the ledge.

    well 1.2.2 seems to be a bit of a fucked up patch, not only did they break the game and take the servers down to fix it(weapons went missing) but they apparently removed attack in place from the in game menu and reset it's binding to default, luckily you can edit the production_Config.ini to rebind it

    Sad times, knowing how evil ice nova boxes are I simply never opened them in Beyond. Same with boxes in docks as I have been insta killed by blue LMP dogs from one in the last 1 month.

    Frozen boxes are the only ones I fear, but a flask with dispel frozen, and smoke mine has kept me safe, so far.

    My phys/crit ice shot Ranger is ridiculously good at dealing with sketchy shit, anyways. I've got puncture in a four link with trap, point blank, and + phys projectile damage, which is especially handy.

    I was right on the edge of the Ice Nova fighting the exile who uses flameblast.Think it was just poor timing as the ice nova went off either just before or just after his flameblast ticked stage three.

    I think I could have handled either the ice nova or flameblast on their own. Max resists, belly of the beast, 5k HP, IR/MOM and shield. It was very sudden spike damage. So I probably got tanked for over 6.5k damage in one go.

    Can't recall map mods... monster skills chain... elemental equilibrium? Something like that. Didn't matter really.

    Rest in Pepperoni, EK Scion tank.
