Blizzard White Knighting is not allowed
Holy shit I thought I signed up for beta but I never did..fml I'll probably never get in :P
Congrats ong etting in :P
You're a towel.
And that is why I find it an insult that people who actually supported the game isn't let in first and foremost. Surely supporters must be a diverse enough group for the test, if not then invite fresh accounts at a lower rate.
The two 2015 ones that registered today aren't
I mean yesterday, 4/20

I need like an app or something to watch the beta invites roll out.
This is stressful.

I'd like to see some more 2011 players on that list.
I'd like to see far less 0 forum posts accounts with 0 or 1 character on it with a max level of 60...
TBH I already knew it would be like this and said as much on Reddit. I was surprised at how hard the community reaction was, I thought people knew it would be like this. Everyone and their grandmother is going to sign up for the beta, many of those people won't even ever check back to see if they won, they'll forget they ever entered. Tons of people who have never played before or played 3 years ago to level 20 and quit will sign up whether they actually care or not. When you have no sign up requirements other than "have an account," you're bound to waste half your keys on people who don't really care.
All I'm seeing is that it's actually possible GGG wasn't lying about a truly random draw. 80% of their entries are probably accounts with 0-1 character and no posts. And that matches up to what we're seeing in the results.

Which is why I think supporters should be the priority for access, I mean they at least support the game and it's development.
I agree for the most part, I wouldn't mind seeing some level of emphasis on paying customers getting access. At least for the first week or so. The problem I have with newbies getting immediate access is that most of them are casual gamers or don't care much anyway, so even the ones that log in and play probably won't do so immediately, or for very long periods of time. So there's no reason to give them keys on day 1. If I had to design it, I would focus on hardcore players/top contributors for the first few days and then start mixing in new players as time went on, reaching a level we are currently seeing after a week or two.

Yeah, that too. A few posts on the account would be nice, indicating that the user may have at least attempted feedback at some point or another, since this beta is all about feedback. Having Scion unlocked would be an indicator that one has at least completed normal difficulty. I understand wanting to get some new player feedback, but greater focus should be on long-time players.
Even as a three-time supporter, I'm not sure if I agree that players with Supporter Packs should have a higher weight, since I view the packs as the reward. Though I can definitely see the argument for it.

So, new supporters packs in a week from what Chris was saying earlier on stream(sure he said it as a week as in 7 days from now...not just some time next week)
Also he was hinting at something else happening on monday just be sure to check the forums.
What ever is happening on monday, it could be the trade changes...i only base that on the new forum changes that were put in yesterday and what he said a fairly long time ago now about the forums needing an upgrade before the trade stuff was implimented...wait and see though
Pretty sure I saw a quote somewhere from Chris stating there wouldn't be any updates to trading in this xpac. I expect new "challenge leagues" on Monday, personally. His "big news on Monday" seemed like it was more aimed at everyone and not just the 200 people playing beta.
Fingers still crossed for an exiles everywhere torment madness league!

He has said in the Q&A
He has also said that it wouldn't be bound to a big patch for release previously, that it's prety much ready(they could have had it in with the hideouts)"
What's the state of trading improvements? Are they gonna be ready for expansion release?
I don't have anything to announce about trading improvements at this stage.
So there is no set deadline, it could be before it could be on 2.0 and it could be after and nothing has actualy said after(unless it's on reddit)

IronsideToby11211 strikes again. lol
At this point, it's basically GGG being lazy and not wanting to put in a filter of any kind.
