Have anyone tried Tempest Shield together with chain before? I dont see the lightning being chained between mobs more than 1 time when chained is on

Well I found not only 1 exalt but 2 on the same map!! I literally screamed out loud when it happened lol. It's been a good day, progressing well on 76/77 maps atm.

Are there any videos/guides on how to approach the current end game? I'm level 70 and just beat Merc Malachai and wondering where to go from here. I guess maps are the way to go, but should I grind out any levels before starting maps? Are there any decent grinding spots in a3/a4 I should do? I've been seeing mention of upgrading maps. How does that work/should I be doing it on the low level maps?
Also a question on trading/crafting gear. Is it usually better to just save up your currency for the exact sockets you want on a unique, or should I buy a cheap one and try to fuse/chrome it to what I want?
Also also how accurate is poeex.info for Warbands? Will people actually trade an exalt for 300/340 chromes/alterations?
You can do maps at 70 and the first tier maps is easy to sustain by just rolling them blue. You can also choose to grind some A4 if your char doesn't feel strong enough (although if you beat Malachi I think you're good to go), dried lake is good for loot with the Voll kills and aqueducts is great for pure XP.
If you can find the item you want for a reasonable price with the links/colors you want that's obviously the safer way to go. For chest/2H weapons you can get lucky by rolling it yourself though, 6S can be a right pain to roll though so if you find one that's already 6S it's usually worth the extra cost.
Chromes/Alts are 15:1 chaos (ish) last I checked and exalts are 1:40 chaos (ish) to get the general idea, bulk trades for 3-400 will usually benefit the alt/chrome seller though.
Quick question.
I never created a witch, so I looked for some beginner builds. I found a good one for "Fire Totems".
So I make the totem build and at level 35 I grouped with some people and they called me all kinds of names like Newb scrub and much worse. Is totem that bad? It looked like it had support of a lot of people on the forums.
Hahaha
ha
Fire totem is really FOTM right now. It's what the vast majority of top racers are using because it does very good damage for very little gear and skill point investment, allowing people to stack defenses and survive where other builds struggle. For this reason it's considered a "noob" build, because people assume you're just copying whatever is flavor of the month...which you kind of are, since you probably went to one of the top threads on the forum which is undoubtedly flame totem because it is so popular.
What you're experiencing are essentially PoE hipsters. Start using fireball and nobody will make fun of you ever again![]()
Are you sure because the first chain goes off and then it stops unless that in that one chain it goes off 3 times.
How I understand it is that once it goes off it will strike, then stop, strike, then stop and then strike and stop a last time.
EDIT: Oh wait, chain as in chain between more targets? Without the gem it seems like it chains between 2-3 targets. With the chain theres no difference

Saw some map talk in here, and have been hearing on the official forums that a lot of people are having bad luck, so wanted to share my mapping experience so far
This mapping system we have here really feels like a throwback to the old times, specifically back in open beta where you couldn't really always run the highest level of maps. I know a lot of people don't like this, but I personally enjoy it. I feel like the highest level of maps should be special and something to look forward to when you get there! One thing I really don't enjoy, is that a lot of lower level maps drop in high level maps. They said they fixed this but it still happens way too often!
Here is my map pool so far, and Here is a small collection of the maps I've done so far. Some of the higher level bosses are absolutely crazy, especially the ones in village ruin. Rolling a lot of rippy mods is needed now to get a lot of higher maps, which I'm completely fine with, as long as there is a pay off at the end. I feel like they could bump the drop rates up a tiny bit more though.
Hopefully GGG will figure out a way to balance map drops properly, because I know there's a lot of people that are struggling in the lower bracket of the endgame. I think some people don't grind enough and/or don't pour enough currency into their maps, so there's a lot of different opinions on this subject.
How about you guys?
If anyone wants to talk ingame or just do some random stuff, I'm up for it @Mat_MH

Ha, that map you linked...death to me as a RF user. Also village ruin was brutal, the only map boss so far that annihilated my marauder completely.
I am undecided on the maps so far. I started yesterday morning and I am doing 71-73 level maps now, but I have a hard time sustaining it at this level - too few drops of same level maps, and I didn't get a single one 74+ yet. I chisel / alchemy all my white map drops.
Drops have also been pretty horrible. Got a total of maybe 40c in currency drops over a solid 10 hour playtime grinding period, plus maybe 1 exalt worth of gear drops at best (gemini claw with ~320 dps being the star).
I wish there was a bottom bracket on what uniques drop as you go higher in levels. E.g when you do 70+ maps, you can only get 30+ uniques, or something like that. I am deathly sick of seeing ezomytes and wideswings drop at this level.
Is 1 h/ shield or 2 h less gear dependent ? I Am a Templar and would like to use a shield, be tanky and do good aoe. Any what skills should I seek out?

summoner build is fun lvl 64 atm, im using full pets and heading towards having 2 totems out 1 skele totem, 1 fire totem, pets aid in defence and they do decent damage, only boss thats a bitch is malachi with his OP damage he does, love having 12 skeles, 8 zombies, 2 spectres and my golum, damage may not be as good as put fire totem build but its good enough.
Have any proof to back that up? I know the maps themselves have changed in how the map bosses are the only only one's to drop +2 level maps but that's about it minus the small nerf to a couple of div cards. Aside from that you have any proof to backup the droprates for good items and currency?

I've been making over an exalt every day in Tempest without getting any GG uniques aside from Tabula on the first day. I mean I've played for several hours every day but it's not terribly hard to make fair profit with some effort. Nerfing the unique chest items makes sense because they used to be easy to get and often BIS for a lot of builds, but they also seem more important than before.
Surprisingly the challenges haven't made Divination cards overpriced, I've been buying sets and turning in the items and selling for profit in several instances

Was there a relevant point you needed to make, or is this just the typical "lolol uninstalled look at me" posts? Sounds like an issue that could have been rectified by support or asking the community for help. Given that this sounds like an insanely uncommon issue, especially as this is an ARPG, one has to seriously question the sincerity of said feedback without any context.
