Minimap icons were one of best things diablo 3 did, there's nothing worse than playing totem build and hearing a 6 socket drop somewhere, then backtracking across 6 screens to find it.
MIKURU BBBEEAAMMMUUUUUUUU!!
A lot of great QoL improvements coming, about time.
Just a shame I'll only be playing this arc for a week, because spoderman. Seems like they've added a lot of cool stuff.

I like minimap icons, especially if you can customize them but the beams...not so much. If it's only for stuff like uniques and other rare(ish) drops that's alright, but that video definitely makes it look like it's for far more mundane items too. Hopefully it'll be something you can turn off.
Just a tiny QOL thing, but in Delve you can right-click a stash tab in the dropdown list to send it to the far left.
This isn't the long-term solution, but it should save you some time at the start of the league.

This'll be my 2nd try to play this game. 2 questions, though.
1) Can you draw the distance back anymore? You got normal view and then you got "I can see up my own ass" view.
2) Does the inventory get any bigger because I hate that you can only loot like 3 things and you have to go back to town?
They are reworking caustic arrow.
I went from zero hype for this league to 100% hype, that is my favorite skill it has just sucked with all the power creep the last few leagues.

I am mostly hyped for the concept of infinite scaling. With the power creep in the last year or two, there are a gazillion builds now that have no issues with clearing Uber Atziri / Shaper / T16s. Uber Elder is the last bastion of difficulty, and even he flops over to medium-price builds now. You can clear Uber Atziri / T16s on 10-c worth of gear in most builds.
With infinite scaling, and their promise of encountering fights that are much tougher than T16 maps - that has some promise. I'd be interested to see how far people can push their 50-M shaper DPS builds.

If you are filling up your inventory so much that you feel the need to go back so often, maybe you should download an item filter add-on and stop picking up all the crap. About the only things I pick up now are specific pieces I want to orb for better stats or uniques I know I can sell. Well, besides things like currency and maps obviously.
I would say get an item filter mod and get familiar with poe.trade. You won't need to worry about picking everything up and can just focus on what you need and what you know you can sell. Back when I played PoE, I was making about 1-2 ex a day just casually throwing things up for trade. If you got really serious about it, learned a good farming build and had the right maps/mods/etc, you could be making 10 times that or more, easily.
Not sure about the changes to Static Strike, it's one of my go to attacks but this change just confuses me...
So, the base hit has gone down from 110-159.4 to 100-146, then the old AoE explosion is removed and replaced with some admittedly quite cool sounding beams, which deal damage equal to 40% of the base attack, or 60% while moving every 0.4 seconds.
Now: honestly, I can't tell if this is a nerf or not. It's CLEARLY an AoE nerf when dealing with 7+ targets. However, for small groups and single target damage, while the initial hit is lessened, I can't tell if the (seemingly) more sustained damage from the proc will make up for that or not. This of course, is assuming that the lightning conversion and increase Shock chance is still there.
Assuming the damage is the same or higher, I'll probably go for something along these lines. Basically, trying to amp up my Lightning Damage and Shock as much as possible. Not decided on a weapon set up yet, so I've tried to stay away from weapon related passives.

With the changes, I'm not sure if you're supposed to use Static Strike as your primary spammed attack anymore or not. Maybe you're better off stacking it to 3 then using Cyclone or something until you need to renew the buff, or maybe could consider a rotation that involves keeping up both Static Strike and Smite.
Oddly it probably won't synergize well with the lightning movement attack (Charged Dash), since you're not actually moving constantly with it...
I probably don't really know what I'm talking about though with regards to what may be meta, so take my thoughts with a grain of salt. I don't even know if I'll play Delve as I'm more focusing on Battle for Azeroth and such at this time.
