Nice, finally installed and ready to go. I thought they said they weren't going to support upscalers, but it looks like it supports the full suite of them including XESS. I was worried about that bit, phew.

That was me the last few leagues of PoE. After the campaign, the amount of stuff you can do felt so overwhelming to me I just didn't bother

I respect the game and devs more than most other devs, but its a wildly overrated game and the combat is dumb

Was pretty positive that i did not reach the threshold required to get sent a free key but I searched my spam folders anyways and there it was, sent 8 days ago.

Ive listened to dev talks but otherwise completely avoided any footage of actual gameplay.This feels like christmas eve. I can't wait to lock in and just finally see the game.

PSA: If you try to start the client on PC/Steam, it will start a little patch download before launch.

On console, it also patches when you start up the app.

There's been two patches since I pre-loaded this morning, so it's probably a good idea to be prepared for more.

Guys since release I'm using standalone client for PoE 1 because when I started playing there wasn't steam version.

Now for PoE 2 I'm not sure if I should stick to standalone client or get it on steam. Are there some cons/pros to either or theres basically no difference? I'm thinking about steam version mostly for time played statistics and thats it.

Did they had limited steam keys? I don't understand. Ubisoft key is still ready to claim.

No. This is some weird thing you are experiencing. I have not seen this anywhere and if it was the case to be common, everyone would be talking about it.

Ok alot of people have this problem and theres few GGG responses about this. It looks they did not expected so many key purchases and run out of them. They have to get alot more and this takes time:

im gonna download the cilent just in case steam does take awhile. Que's I can handle its whatever, popular game. Not having enough keys is just dumb though

I know this has happened to other games. I don't know the exact details but my understanding is that the publisher/developer (and retailer in this case) has to request keys from Steam, and sometimes they request too few.

Yeah sure but this is poe 2 not poe 1.

The matrix reloaded movie broke records after the first matrix film. Would be weird to not assume growth after becoming a hit with the first outing

How is it possible to run out of Steam keys? I don't understand how this can happen.

My assumption is that they are created in blocks, as ordered by the publisher. They apparently undershot in the expected keys, and it's something that can be remedied in a matter of hours.
