Still very strong. Hell, my freakin Dual Strike of Ambidexterity character lived off that shit for some reason - I figured stacking more crit would be better but PoB kept consistently showing impale was yielding far better returns for it by a big margin, and that dude was crit capped.

Perhaps I am thinking of one of the impale skills? I can't recall, but I played it shortly after. It was bad.

Maybe Splitting Steel this past league when they made it so projectiles can't return anymore? Impale proper has arguably seen some minor buffs IIRC.

This might sound crazy, but I think I prefer POE2 crafting post-Abyss over POE1. I just had so much control early on.

Probably my fastest POE1 campaign, though. The new wand skills are as cracked as we thought.

Fusillade is a boss melter. I'll be 4 stones by tonight, I think.

I love the attack base wands too. I am just finding currency to be a little scarce. I am getting plenty of item drops, but bubblegum crafting basics seem a little thin this league.

I might need to start juicing harder or perhaps start doing boats and mappers.

Nonetheless, I put together a slap-dash wander glass cannon and it is absolutely wonderful. So much fun!

I don't like having to save the lady in the new breach. That just doesnt gel right with my concept and familiarity of Breach.

Also, it is fucking constant. She's exhausting me.

don't understand it in maps entirely still, for the "main" one where you defend the lady is there a point to breaking down the walls? it appears the little gray dots you activate by running by and turning pink are portals?

I guess the idea is you are supposed to create a "path" to funnel the monsters. So that you can clear them more easily/make it harder for monsters to reach her.

Functionally, no one is doing that shit. We blast or die.

tree is dope, I got a fucking 5 link in A5, this is gonna be great for SSF

The early link+ stuff nodes are great. I think it falls off once you start mapping a bit and need more specific gear. However, the early game benefit is too good to pass for anything else on the tree to start.

Did a fortress in white maps, very rewarding! I'm enjoying this league quite a lot, and the respeccing of the tree tree (hue) is less tedious and more meaningful than I thought.

Kinetic Rain of Impact is working, so far.

Not needing ID scrolls in your hideout is so nice. I don't travel with scrolls at all now, since this league is shitting portal gem cards at you and I have free sockets.

I had to take a break for Halloween stuff, but I am on my way to 4 stones. I don't know how fast we are going but it feels like my fastest campaign and 4 stone clear ever.

This is the wanding I dreamed about since OG spellslinger.
